• Evaluate facts related to contract performance problem areas, determine the most appropriate and effective remedial actions, and implement such actions.
• Consult with legal, insurance, and other applicable departments when necessary regarding contracts, purchase orders, changes, amendments, etc. prior to and during execution.
• Support project for the processing of change orders and variations to contract during execution.
• Expedite vendor documentation and delivery.
• Coordinate shop inspections and testing in vendor shop.
• Identify procedures for and manage importation of equipment and materials.
• Coordinate delivery logistics.
• Check supplier invoices and pay applications for accuracy.
• Arrange and participate in conferences between suppliers and engineering, purchasers, inspectors and other company representatives concerning procurement related issues.
• Prepare reports, letters and other documentation pertaining to procurement activities and maintain manual or computerized procurement records.
• Provide contract administration during execution including but not limited to change order processing, invoice review, back charge administration, claims mitigation, and close-out.
• Generate BOQ from tender drawings, prepare and float RFQ’s, make techno commercial comparison of proposals within the constraints of budget and project specifications.
• Negotiate suitable payment terms to secure the interest of the company and to minimize risk for respective Incoterms on overseas procurements.
• Arrange and co-ordinate 3rd Party inspections in respective country of origin of products, prior to dispatch. In order to ensure technical compliance in accordance with the approved technical submittal.
• Responsible for Subcontractor management, Material inspections and Procurement.
• Attending project progress meetings with the Client & the Consultants.
• Familiar with ASHRAE, ARI, NFPA, SMACNA, DW 144, BS, ASTM, ANSI, EN, IEE, NEMA, ISO, OSHAS etc. standards.

• Princess Tower: Princess Tower Project 6B+G+100F worth USD 90 Million is declared as the world’s tallest residential Tower consisting of hundred floors and seven basements. Scope of work includes all MEP procurement and Installation.
• Palm Jumeira Monorail : Project worth USD 54 Million consists of the stations and for the rail transit system with in Palm Jumeira.
• Dubai Metro Car park: Project worth AED 115 Million consists of the Car park for the rail transit system of Dubai Jumeira Car park & Rashidiya car park.

Direct and supervise procurement of Project material of Mechanical Equipment & Spares, HVAC, ELECTRO MECHANICAL items, and implementing MAXIMO system - Directly supervise 10 staff. Reporting to Project Manager.

To ensure that all materials purchases, whether local or international, are in accordance with Company policies and Tender Board procedures. To consolidate the requirement from different sites as per the commodity prepare and to ensure capable bidders are invited with concurrence of consultants on the proposed bidders list for the requisitioned items (Tender Board items). Issue the Tender to approved bidders and follow up with them for timely submission.

Responsible for to negotiations with the suppliers for the procurement of material and - Identify and Establish Price Agreements, Bulk and Blanket Purchase Orders.

Interface with the consultants and others outside the company for technical and commercial discussion.
Ordering and planning the delivery of the material to match with the schedule of installation works at site and regular follow up with the suppliers to assure deliveries on time.

Controlling the total process of procurement, logistics, inventory control, and cost control of the project through “MAXIMO” software programme for procurement and project management.

Have worked on different modules of MAXIMO like Work Order Processing, Inventory, and Purchasing. Generating necessary reports to provide all the necessary information from database to the contract manager for the progress payments of the project and supporting the contracts Dept. with related information to quote for new projects.

Coordinate with technical specialists and site personnel in identifying and resolving problems of material on site. Attend regularly project progress meetings.

Ensure a positive work environment and awareness by all staff to achieve project goals and objectives.
Monitor progress throughout the material procurement cycle, ensuring cost and time constraints are met and acting to ensure problem resolution, as necessary.

Monitor material availability at site, including quality control inspections and After delivery material Approval by the consultants.
Establish and maintain effective QA/QC system in place for the Projects strictly adhering to standards and specifications.
