Nature of Job:
Attending the regular meeting with the Client, Designer, Internal Engineering Dept., QA/QC Dept., Site Incharges and Project Manager to schedule both procurement and construction activities.
Review of Purchase Requisition Submittal (PRS) from designer to internal QA/QC and client for both LSPB and LSTK projects to initiate the material Requests for major long lead materials.
Initiating Technical Queries and Technical approvals with designer and client.
Interactions with Designer (SSJ, DAR and SAFCON) regarding all technical issues.
Getting Change Order approval from clients by providing required technical details.
Review of drawings, MTOs and PRS for various GCC projects.
Enquiry floatation, Technical Bid Evaluation, Vendor/Manufacturer selection, comparative statement of Purchase Order based on techno commercial aspects.
Interactions with Vendors / Manufacturers for the earliest possible delivery of material as per PO terms.
Selection of Third Party Inspector based on material.
Arrangement of transportation and issuance of material to various sites.
Maintaining the tracking report of all the project materials from initial material Request till final delivery of material to site.
Worked as Production Engineer at TESKON INDIA PVT. LTD., Bangalore from July 2008 to May 2009. It is one of the reputed medium scale industry, which is full filling the needs of elevators with the reasonable cost at fast growing Bangalore city.
