Assist the Department in formulating Provincial Polices on Urban Planning and Housing Issues
Assist the Department in handling ongoing Projects funded by International Donor Agencies including Punjab Cities Governance Improvement Project (PCGIP), and Punjab Spatial Strategy (PSS).
Preparation of “Punjab Development Authorities Housing Schemes and Land Sub Division Rules” to be implemented by the Development authorities across Punjab
Updating “Punjab Land use Classification, Re-classification and Re-Development Rules” to be implemented by the Development authorities across Punjab

Prepare monthly digest for all the key sectorial activities of PSF, CDIA and PPTA, CRVA and PDA.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and Half Yearly and Annual report for the project as per ADB and program requirement for sharing with P&D, LG&CDD and within Urban Unit.
Facilitate and support the Capacity Building Program and design at Punjab Local Government Academy Lalamusa.
Coordination between the concerned subject specialists of urban unit and ADB consultants during the execution of different Program activities.
Prepare all the correspondence, letters, Memo, PC-II as required under the Program.
Draft PC1 of the Program.
Facilitate and Coordinate all ADB Missions.
Lead Urban Planning Component in the Program.
Facilitate the Local Government Department in establishing the Program Management Unit & City Implementation Units.
Overall Project Management of the PICIIP.

For the first time in Punjab Prepared Land use Plan of entire Tehsil Hassan Abdal in 2007 covering an area of 360 Sq.km using Geographical Information System & Remote Sensing.
Overall monitoring of the development of Sanitary Land Fill site in Hassan Abdal over an area of 106 Kanals and cost of 60 Million Rs. in close collaboration of PMDFC & TO(I&S).
