Job Responsibilities
Develop, monitor, evaluate, and promote OHSE (Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment) practices for project activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, client requirements, and international standards.
Daily safety inspection of the site to identify the hazards, and safe conditions and act accordingly.
Organize Daily Tool Box meetings before the job to enhance knowledge and promote OHS awareness among employees.
Maintain and implement the site Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) plan, firefighting plan, and emergency evacuation plan.
Follow up on PTW (Permit to Work) systems, inspections, and planning safety arrangements for the job.
Investigation of all Accidents, incidents/ injuries / Near misses / Spills / Fires to find the root causes and recommend
Corrective actions, reporting to superiors immediately and following proper procedures.
Evaluate and ensure the proper use of PPE at the job site and minimize unsafe conditions & acts of operation.
Expertise in hazard identification, risk analysis, risk assessment, and job safety analysis. Safety awareness by promoting safety meetings, presentations Organize safety training on the job as well as in the classroom regularly for employees, and HSE 101 orientation/introduction training .
