required me to manage projects between Singapore and Malaysia and included an array
of different project types from trading floors to supporting the banking sector, hotel live refurbishment and
commercial offices. With regards to the banking sector project, this was for Barclays and was based in Marina
Bay Financial Centre in Singapore and consisted of 200 trading desks as well as office dwellings. The project was
heavily focused on the MEP services providing a pure N+N solution whilst achieving LEED gold status. The project
was structured and supported with 6 client direct specialist consultants consisting of; MEP design consultant,
commissioning management consultant, architectural design consultant, acoustic consultant, LEED
management consultant and cost management consultant and required me to coordinate between all parties
to ensure the project was completed in accordance with the design specification and contract requirements.
The hotel live refurbishment was for the Grand Hyatt in Singapore and consisted of over 200 keys plus common
area including restaurants, receptions and pool area. The project required all work activities to be completed
whilst the hotel remained operational and within a restricted timeframe being 40 keys per floor within 18
working days and therefore required specific focus with regards to the procurement and logistic structure as the
vast majority of the packages were sourced directly from China on a supply only basis. Below are some of the
daily activities I performed within my role at ISG.
• Project management accountability from a ‘cradle to grave’ principal from tender to closeout.
• Develop, review and comment on the design packages including drawings and technical specifications.
• Structuring and implemented commissioning plans in accordance to design and specification
requirements.
• Ensuring project closeout and final accounts are completed in a timely manner.

Working within the project and development consultancy services for the MENA division of JLL has provided me
with the opportunity to have managed some of the most prestigious projects executed within the UAE market

and worldwide. This included the project Sea World in Abu Dhabi; my role within this project was to complete a
peer review of the project management consultant, lead design consultant and cost management consultant for
the project. The analysis comparison completed was to support the client decision with appointing the correct
bidder from both a technical and cost perspective, the comparison review and supporting report was completed
within three months.
I was also assigned as the senior project manager of a boutique hotel of 178 keys within downtown Dubai; the
project was a new concept and my role was to develop the project from a concept design whilst defining the
branding experience from the client’s vision to the completion and handover. The project vision was to utilise a
commercial tower and develop it into a mix use building. The emphasis of the project was to become the leading
boutique hotel chain to incorporate the latest technologies available to provide a unique guest experience. The
project value was over $15 million dollars with the potential rollout of another 5 boutique hotels within the
Middle East within the next five years. Below are some of the daily activities I performed within my role at JLL.
• Taking responsibility of all aspects of project management; holding accountability for project delivery
to cost, time and quality parameters. 

• Develop client relationships at senior management level and influence at board level. 

• Management of projects both pre and post-contract.
• Deliver projects with the framework of risk, sustainability and environmental considerations agreed at
the business case/client briefing stage, while maintaining focus on time, cost and quality.
