The position is a multi-role position for various telecom areas such as Customer Service Delivery, Network Planning, Design and Implementation, Customer circuit path design, Restoration, Capacity Management
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing and implementing service delivery procedures and will liaison with 3rd party providers for all off-net requirements, testing and handover. Deliver customer services on agreed RFS and to make sure that the contractual SLA is achieved with high customer satisfaction.
• Take care of network inventory and updates using Operational Support Systems and carry out network checks and audits
• Performs network risks analysis, mitigation plan, and business continuity development.
• Work closely with Transmission and IP NOC ensuring that the agreed solution is well understood and implemented in an orderly fashion
• Planning Design and Implementation of Network circuits including building of STM-64 bearers and IP backbone capacity making sure that capacity will be readily available for future customers’ circuits
• Planning, Design and Implementation of customer circuits
• Review capacity feasibility requests from Pre-sales team. Work closely with Engineering team thru providing capacity report and suggesting upgrade solutions to ensure capacity is available for future customers’ circuits
• Planning, Design and Implementation of Interim restoration solution in the event of network fault, assuring customer business continuity
• Work closely with onsite support teams across all GBI Landing Sites to ensure proper handling of onsite support requests
Promoted to Senior Project Engineer for managing the direct implementation of Subsea Upgrade projects for C2C and
EAC Networks • working with cross functional team of project stakeholders, Operations team, NOC team, Capacity
and Network planning to meet program objectives • Presented detailed project summaries to senior level management
and conducted post implementation analyses to determine areas for project improvement
Promoted to Project Engineer to direct implementation of SDH and DWDM Terrestrial Backhaul Projects • working with cross functional team of project stakeholders, Service delivery manager, Operations team, NOC team, Capacity and Network planning to meet program objectives • Presented detailed project summaries to senior level management and conducted post implementation analyses to determine areas for project improvement
Customer colocation deployment in Asia-wide PACNET facilities that involves sales inquiry evaluation • approval and
