• Ensure that all Raw materials, packaging materials and Finished products have been inspected against their established specification prior to use or release
• Supervise all products manufacturing activities for each batch processing including physico-chemical tests, ensure proper sampling, making of Control drinks and keep all the forms and other related documents/records properly filled-up and filed.
• Actively participate in all activities (including Audits) related to HACCP and ISO in coordination with its team leader
• Ensure all local EHS and DM regulations and their updates are accessible to the company
• Liaison with external parties for related activities such as EHS, External laboratories, calibration bodies, Pest-Control contractor and other agencies
• Follow up any other activities related to ISO, GMP and HACCP
• Use and maintenance of Laboratory instruments like Pasteurizer, Homogenizer, Refractometer, Brixmeter, Titrator, and Density meter.
• Use of Oracle in system transactions.
• Performance of sensory and physical evaluation on in-process materials and finished products for monitoring or audit purposes
• Conduct of daily pre-operative/operative and in-process audit of the production area against established sanitation and GMP requirements
• Conducts verification of Internal Temperature on products with the use of a hand held thermometer after cooking ( CCP )
• Conduct of metal detection ( CCP ) tests on finished products
• Monitoring of production processes whenever there are changes in materials, formulations, and/or processes
• Conduct of internal quality audits to assess compliance with standards and documented procedures
• Participation in the implementation of Hazards Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) Plans
• Conducts compliance and verification audits of established HACCP Plans
• Complies with and performs procedures and instructions prescribed by the company’s Quality and Environmental Management standards / ISO/ and government regulations
• Observation of Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures and workplace safety regulations and emergency preparedness programs
• Identification and reporting of observed deviations noted in the production area
• Identification and immediate holding of possible materials and products affected by deviation
• Analysis of root causes of production deviations together with the Production Supervisors, PD Specialists and concerned operators
• Dispositions/Recommendation on ageing stocks of ingredients, packaging materials, and finished products based on results of inspections and tests done
• Identification of improvement opportunities and establishment of recommendations based on results of observations and tests made
• Accomplishment of relevant QA checklists, Product Quality Advice Notes (PQAN), Weekly highlights, exception reports, and other performance reports
• Analyzes Raw materials and Finished goods samples by use of Physico-Chemical tests prior use or release to production
• Performance of sensory and physical evaluation on in-process materials, retention samples and finished products for monitoring or audit purposes
• Conducts monthly inventory of Laboratory chemicals and equipments
• Assigned in calibration and maintenance of Laboratory apparatuses (e.g. HPLC )
• Dispenses chemical materials for production use.
• Assigned in the frequent replenishment of treated water for production use.
• Performs given tasks in assistance to QA personnel.
