Over the past two years I have been responsible for the overall logistic operations for major oil and gas projects with contract value`s reaching $350.000.000. Successfully managed from zero the logistics operations to and from a 100 miles offshore-based oil and gas plant. Managing 52 marine offshore vetted vessels, a fleet of more then 40 heavy vehicles with supporting service stations and facilitating a work force of more then 350 person’s onsite.

Tasks & responsibilities:
• Responsible for the full fit logistical process from tendering and planning phase through to project completion.
• Reporting directly to the project and area director.
• Weekly meetings with financial manager, contracts manager, construction Manager, QA/QC and HSE Manager.
• Overseeing and leading a team of technical superintendents, logistics coordinators and procurement officers.
• Negotiate contracts/CPA’s with bunkering brokers, oil and gas service providers and offshore marine contractors.
• Overseeing if the planning and budgets are met with set KPI’s.
• Implement strategic responses to external influences, such as legislation, fuel costs, environmental pressures and HSE requirements.
• Regular site visits ensuring contractors are operating efficiently to contractual requirements and ensuring SOP’s are adhered to.
• Employing best business practices that improve efficiency, reduce operating costs whilst increasing productivity in a safely manner.
• Accountable for leading 52 vessels through the strict Supreme Petroleum Council ships vetting.

• Reporting directly to the logistic manager and construction manager.
• Working closely with the project & client representative for punch listing, system walkthrough's, handover and acceptance of systems.
• Preparation and assist with the completion of Inspection & Test Records (ITR's).
• Responsible for evaluation and follow-up of all proposed corrective actions.
• Monitoring all plant equipment and all reports are routed to the applicable authorities as required by regulations and applicable procedures.
• Conduct operational and HSE audits.
