Started as Sales Manager, before being promoted to General Manager. Overseeing the general day-to-day running of the business and reporting directly to the Managing Director. Duties include to monitor that the staff are performing efficiently, high level of customer service, meeting (VIP) clients, ensuring projects are run on time, within budget and profitable. Each of the clients are treated individually, as their requirements are unique. Managing the support staff to ensure presentations/classes are delivered on time with correct course materials (if needed). Liaised with Finance Director for costs. Communicated with clients for feedback in order to evaluate trainer’s performance and maintain high standards.
A member of the flight instructor team teaching members of the public how to fly a Boeing 737-800, and basic operation of an airliner on a fully operational fixed base simulator. Instruction caters on the individual requirements of the customer. Instruction centers around take-off, cruise, flight handling, autopilot use, basic FMC programming and useage, and landing. In June 2014 iPilot made the Airbus A380-800 available to the general public, which involved the instructors to learn about fly-by-wire (FBW) flying. Other duties included, making sales, sending daily sales reports to Head Office, and running the store if Manager was away.
A member of the Maintenance and Completions Department reporting directly to the Senior Manager Aircraft Maintenance to oversee the scheduling, planning and following through of current and future projects. Direct liaison with certifying licensed engineers for parts and tooling requirement to pass onto SCM (Supply Chain Management) and aircraft progress updates for weekly meetings with Completions Contracts Manager and upper echelon management. Exclusively assigned a 747-400 VVIP project managing manpower, working within a pre-determined budget, and maintenance check daily task planning.
A member of the Maintenance Department reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance and Director of Quality to oversee the running of the Planning Department to ensure a smoothly run operation as an aircraft operator. Duties include ensuring aircraft documentation was kept to date and that scheduled inputs were forecast in advance, checking all documentation relating to a newly-accepted aircraft for the operator.
A member of the Planning department team specifically in overseeing the work being carried out within the department and providing support as needed. Implemented changes in order to allow the flow of work to be shared evenly, and make information easily accessible in an ordered and structured manner. Was assigned a major client based in Riyadh, KSA. This involved overseeing the client’s aircraft projects from creation to completion of the checks, inspections, due maintenance, and any reported defects.
A member of the Bombardier/LearJet/Pilatus Planning department team for overseeing the aircraft project from creation to completion of the checks, inspections, due maintenance, and any reported defects. This involved reviewing for Airworthiness Directives issued by the FAA, Canadian DOT, and European EASA authorities. Proposals and quotations were presented to customers for major work to be carried out for future inputs. This involved researching the requested tasks and inspections and providing an estimated cost.

A team leader for a team within Production Planning ensuring all the consumables, equipment, rotables, and tools are accounted for in the task cards across the airline fleet. This is part of the work needed prior to converting the maintenance software from in-house IES to airline-wide AMOS, which will have a lot more parameters to keep track of the items being put together.

14 month secondment to Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Seattle, USA.
Transferred to Seattle to assist the team working on the 747-400 Large Cargo Freighter conversion program in producing Service Bulletins for the fuselage rebuild and mechanical systems modification and rework. Acquired specialized knowledge of conversion and retrofit procedures through computer-based engineering systems.
