Responsible for providing oversight to administrative issues at the District/Brach (west) . This involves provision of administrative support to the operations manager and the District Pastor. Participating as a member of the Watoto Church administration team and acting as the overall supervisor at the district. My role is to ensure that accurate information concerning the district is provided to the Operations manager. My duties include:
o Participate in ongoing decisions regarding District management while working with all concerned parties in the organization in order to address identified needs.
o Supervising personnel at the district in the areas of Maintenance, drivers, Security and caretaking.
o Supervising projects at the District such as Building, and fundraising projects.
o Coordinate activities and departments at the District while ensuring effective team work by communicating regularly with team members.
o Participate in monitoring and evaluation process of the church's performance by providing periodical performance reports for the benefit of the operations manager.
o Organizing and coordinating District and departmental events such as weddings, district anniversaries, overnights and district Sports.
o Participate in drawing and reviewing annual budgets and proposals for the District and departments.
o Providing security and maintenance for all district assets, vehicles and premises.
o Coordinating the use and hire of district facilities.
o Managing the process of handling finances (Tithes and offerings on Sundays) and receipting any other finances received at the district throughout the week and ensuring safety and security of such monies.
o Managing and accounting for monies (financial reports) released to run activities at the district including petty cash.
o Examining the accuracy of invoices by suppliers and contractors to ensure legitimacy before passing them for authorizing and approval for payment.
o Making payments of utility bills, rent and other services consumed by the district.
o Procuring items needed for the smooth running of the district.
o Organizing trainings and workshops for small groups that require the service.
