•Research, gather data, analyze and compile a comprehensive database of market trade statistics from trade bodies, airports and industry databases for submission of revenue forecasts to planning for frequency increases, new route studies and optimum equipment deployment to ensure profitable operations.
•Monitor performance to establish if identified and proposed trade potential is realized and supports the field to obtain the projected traffic volumes. Reasons for the shortfall needs to be established and in coordination with the route managers and the field and propose means of correcting it.
•Need to work in close coordination with planning & engineering (P&E) to have the best routing & commercial options viable which are feasible both financially & on a service level.
•Coordinates the handling of ‘special situation’ (Need for extra flights/trucks, change of aircraft type) & contingency plans (late truck/flight, weather, resource issues).
•Perform defined activities including providing timely instructions on actions necessary to ensure revised goals are met with minimal disruption to service.
•Conducts daily operational briefings supporting required actions including corrective action plans.
•Attends the daily conference global call headed from CDG which gives an overall summary of the daily FEDEX operations around the world & also a heads up with future forecast in terms of loads, weather, mechanical & technical constraints.
•Coordinate with the Afghanistan vendor (Expo Aviation) to have the scheduled chartered movement (Bagram, Kabul, Kandahar, Sharana, Bastion) to the best possible options provided to have maximum operational & commercial solutions.
•Coordinate with the local trucking vendor (Royal express) on timely IPF (Heavyweight) pickup & delivery in order to ensure service levels & operations are not impacted.
•Coordinate with the GCC trucking vendor (Falcon express) with regard to the daily inbound & outbound movement (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait) of RFS which involves checking on all aspects (Documents, Commodity etc )to ensure smooth movement over the cross-border (Sila, Batha, AbuSamra).
•Coordinating with GHA with proper pickup & delivery of shipments to ensure operational cutoffs are met to ensure media connections.
•Well versed with GHA system ‘Calogi’ for the purpose of execution & booking of media to be tendered.

•Constantly audit and assess role groups of users in SkyChain in order to maintain access controls and system masters to ensure the system is distributed and functioning according to user needs and flexibility. Considering the large masters a single source is required to manage it uniformly across users.
•Research, identify and develop mandatory functionality in various systems to provide advance information sought by various regulatory bodies like customs authorities, security regimes, government bodies to ensure EK is in conformance to defined government requirements to continue trading.
•Analyze and liaise under the guidance of the manager, to develop and implement contractual agreements with all the external system service providers to ensure EK interests are not compromised and service providers are obliged to provide continuous service to EK for conducting trading.
•Research, guide, seek and collate central automation requirements of SkyCargo business units and prepare the central annual automation budget for SkyCargo and submit to senior management for approval. Objective analysis should be conducted to undertake systems enhancements with clear efficiency gains and revenue benefits prior to submission to senior management.
•Identify IT requirements for new stations, office relocations and coordinate with EGIT to ensure all systems are operational prior to training and station start up activities. Provide guidance and raise IT service requirements for all cargo sections and some outstations to ensure consistency and conformity in usage of systems and hardware to avoid redundancies, cost avoidance and improve efficiencies.
•Constant audit of network wide usage of automated systems and identify staff, stations that are not using automated systems to its potential which should be addressed with development programs.
•Monitor revenue and production performance at on-line and off-line stations, to measure and evaluate the rate of attainment against objectives and in coordination with internal departments (Capacity Control/Pricing/Outstations), recommend corrective action to achieve system wide cargo revenue and yield objectives.
•Coordinating with ground safety in regards to dangerous goods discrepancies and following up with stations in order to make the shipments ready for uplift.
•Continuously monitor processes at operations, suggest change/improvement and assist in implementing of new process. Preparing statically reports of daily/monthly tonnage handled and operational discrepancies.
•Worked for the AVI / RXS transit authorization department which involved getting all documents, permissions from origin /destination & hub for transport, getting permits approved from CID, State security department (SSD) & Police for RXS shipments & for AVI shipments getting it approved from Ministry of environment & water.
•Experience in a planning/research/statistics role within the organization.
•Worked on numerous report providing daily, monthly & annual figures with regard to tonnage, service failures & overall performance of hub & outstations.
