• Conduct Health, Safety and Environment audits and inspections to identify system deficiencies and operational hazards and risk.
• Carry out formal incident investigation and follow-up corrective action till close out.
• Make monthly inspection and weekly assessment of lifting equipment, rigging and heavy equipment status and condition.
• Carry out safety inspection tours for all areas identify potential hazards & recommended solutions.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings with workforce to keep abreast of unsafe work conditions prevailing in the jobsite.
• Take part in periodic HSE Audits & inspection to identify areas for improvements and to rectify all unsafe actions/condition.
• Conduct safety orientation, toolbox meeting, fire training, and safe operations.
• Stop unsafe or sub-standard company’s operation.
• Assist to review the Subcontractors HSE plans when such plans must comply with the Project HSE plan.
• Attend job progress meeting where safety is an item on the agenda and report on job safety performance.
• Prepare a monthly HSE report for the project for the attention of the Project Manager and Corporate HSE Department
• Monitored all health and safety activities and ensured appropriate implementation.
• Ensured compliance to all determined standards for all HSE programs.
• Inspected all contract equipment and ensured compliance to all HSE regulations.
• Administered all emergency response activities and recommended improvements as per requirement.
• Inspected job site in case of hazardous work activities and performed safety analysis on it.
• Analyzed all site accidents and recommended correction when required.
