• Develops database derived from in-house experience, regular reviews of a wide range of unit cost rates (regional & international), i.e., bulk materials, transport, freight, insurance, equipment rental.
• Collect and review pertinent commercial, technical and strategic project data from sponsors/users, project managers, project engineers, field supervisors and other concerned departments as part of the cost estimate scope verification.
• Perform the tasks of preparing compliance statement for the project specification.
• Responsible in preparing technical and commercial bids
• Extensive knowledge in Tendering, Budgeting, Cost Phasing, Cost Control and Cost Reduction measures, from the project initiation to the close out phases
• Obtain quotations and negotiate for the best price and prompt delivery
• Coordinate warranty claims and service requests to suppliers
• Prepare the purchase order or service order
• Facilitate the accreditation of new suppliers
• Prepare documents for tender
• Follow-up delivery of orders, monitor and address supplier delivery performance
• Update and maintain records and files as necessary
Attained Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering. Have various on-the-job training for bottling plant and cement industries.
