Perform scheduled preventive maintenance works and complete test & maintenance reports.
Responsible for the calibration of product meters, positive displacement meters, liquid turbine meters, flow meters, additive injector, oval gear meter and all kinds of plant process instruments and equipment.
Servicing, Overhauling of pneumatic & hydraulic control valve.
Inspect and test Operation of Instruments and to diagnose faults using testing standard measuring device.
Repair and adjust instrumentation components and remove/replace defective parts.
Carry on any task required by immediate Supervisor.
Performs routine maintenance to equipment, instrumentation & controls like troubleshooting of batch controller, blender, additive injectors, measuring elements & final control elements.
Layout of power and control cables of all types of Electrical Equipment.
Check & troubleshoot electrical wirings (Power & Control circuits).
Installation of Lighting system, Telephone, Fire Alarm & CCTV system.
Installation/wiring of Panel boards, Interposing Relay panel and Cable Termination Work of Electric Motors, Generators, Transformer and Switchgears.
Provide & installation of grounding system of all Electrical Equipment.
Perform Insulation Resistance Testing of power & control cables.
Layout of Cable Trays, Conduit Pipes and fittings installation.
Repair of Electric Motors and other Electrical Tools and Equipment.
Involved for the testing and commissioning of Electrical Equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Carry on any task required by immediate Supervisor.
Attending jobs allotted by Supervisor like PM Check, Alarm and Trip Checks and other instrument related works coming up every now and then called for from the Control Room like check and calibrate the instruments for faulty readings.
Field calibration of instruments/transmitter such as flow, level, radar type tank gauges, temperature, types of pressure transmitter like differential, atmospheric, barometric & gauge pressure; control valves; RTD, temperature gauge, manometer, pressure switch, temperature switch and limit switch from several manufacturer’s including Rosemount, ABB, Siemens, Yokogawa; HP Valves, Fisher DVC series control valves, ABB, Emerson Process, Wika, Neo-Dyn, Honeywell, SOR, Dwyer etc.
Control valve travel calibration, verify feedback switches, Clean valve accessories and lubricate all moving parts.
Connect & utilizes instrument calibrators such as pressure calibrator, temperature calibrator, multifunction process calibrator, loop calibrator, Hart Communicator, Power supply & Resistance box.
Checks and services of faulty vibration sensor/transmitter, dew point sensor/transmitter, fire & gas and smoke detectors.
Instrumentation & control works for HRSG, PEECC, Accessory Module, LCI, Air Intake, Exhaust & Cooling systems.
Configure/Reconfigured SMART instruments using Hart Application like temperature, pressure, flow and level transmitter to the required parameters.
Installation, tubing and replaces defective field instruments.
Termination of primary & secondary instruments cables, including cable glands.
Doing of calibration & PM’s reports.
Assists the QC in performing internal inspection and in clearing of electrical & instruments punch-list items.
Assists the QC in preparation and submission of QC documents such as Check Advices, Test Codes P&ID’s, ILD’s and other related documents.
Inspects, troubleshoots, services, assembles, installs, connects, repairs, adjusts and test low & medium voltage electrical generation, distribution, control and utilization equipment and systems.
Examines electrical equipment and systems for damages, corrosion and operation.
Connects & utilizes test equipment & meters such as voltmeters, ammeters, mega-ohmmeters for locating equipment, distribution & control systems malfunctions & faults.
Cleans & adjust relay timing mechanisms & contacts, rotating machine brushes, circuit breaker, disconnect contacts & control sensing mechanisms.
Repairs & services isolated de-energized high voltage equipment (rotating machinery, circuit breakers & associated high voltage interior power systems) under direct supervision & guidance.
Installs & connects distribution, generation, & utilization equipment components, control sensing devices, relays, switches, panel boards, transformers, voltage regulators, battery chargers, motor speed controllers, speed sensor, heating elements, temperature & pressure indicators, battery banks, generators, surge protectors, ground rods, lighting for air terminals and ground lamps.

Testing and Commissioning activity of Solar & Battery Inverter, Wind Turbine system, Web box monitoring system, MPPT & PWM Solar Charge Controller and DC link box.
Wiring and termination of AC cables, DC cables and communication cables for On-grid inverter and Off-grid inverter.
Configure Battery inverter with multi-cluster system.
Involved in installation, Testing and Commissioning of Solar Thermal Heating system, control and instrumentation.
Performs PM check for wind & solar inverters, record data and monitor parameters.
Replace faulty weather instrumentation like Anemoscope, Anemometer. Humidity sensor and Sun irradiation sensor.
