Duties and Responsibilities as Clinical Instructor in RLE (Related Learning Experience) Community and Hospital set-up.
1. Orient students to:
a. Concepts, objectives expected performance following evaluation criteria and requirements.
b. Role function and responsibilities (ethico legal and moral aspects)
c. Members of the health team and physical set-up of the unit
d. Policies and routine of the hospital.
2. Supervise students during data gathering
3. Creates an environment for constructive learning to occur in assigned area and assumes responsibility for additional assignment as required.
4. Coordinate intra and inter departmental orientation of the nursing students assigned for a certain period of time.
5. Facilitates learning
6. Assists students in the correct formulation of nursing diagnosis
7. Demonstrate new nursing practice standards and hospital policies and procedures.
16. Evaluate students’ performance and effectiveness of provided educational support
17. Conduct shifting exam
18. Computes Related Learning Experience ( RLE) rating of students following criteria of the institution and submit to level coordinator
Responsible for the direction, provision and quality of Nursing services provided to patients. Provided and implements a department plan of administration authority clearly delegating responsibilities and duties of each category of nursing personnel. Perform other task and duties within knowledge and abilities as directed by the executive manager. Participate with other hospital leader in the decision making process including planning and budgeting. Participate in the hospital's multidisciplinary structures, e.g., committees such as quality improvement, infection control and pharmacy and therapeutics. Establishes oversees, improve and ensure the implementation of nursing policies and procedures of nursing professional of practice and patient care.
