Functionally / administratively responsible for overall Operations for all manufacturing units comprising of Manufacturing, Technical which includes Engineering, Maintenance, Asset Management, Supply Chain Operations which includes planning, procurement, logistics and warehousing, Green field and Brown field Projects, Quality Assurance, NPD and overall General Management.

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

▪ Cost Savings of $ 24.5 M / annum generated from new and existing investments, KPI’S, Recon and M&W system.
▪ Carried out capital projects amounting to more than $ 66.0 M by addition of new high speed bottling lines, state of the art
warehousing Facilities, auxiliaries, up-gradation, refurbishment and development of plant and equipments.

▪ Implemented companywide manufacturing and warehousing strategy by enhancement of the capacities from 64 MM cases to 102
MM cases in the 1st stage, 102 MM to 148 MM cases in the 2nd stage, 148 MM cases to 211.73 MM cases in the 3rd stage.
At present the total capacity after enhancement is 313.72 M.
Simultaneously carried out the enhancement of storage capacities at different sites by the addition of state of the art warehousing
facilities with vertical stacking systems as well as addition in transportation for empty and filled goods.

▪ Instrumental in the start-up operations and full qualification of the Carbonated and Non-Carbonated beverage manufacturing units
▪ Manufactured and launched numerous packages in Carbonated, Non-Carbonated and Energy drinks.

Scope of responsibilities comprised of Production, Engineering, Technical, Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions, Logistics, Warehousing, Asset Management, Planning and Procurement.

The Beverage Division comprised of 20 high speed bottling, canning, aseptic and tetra lines integrated with a solid back up infrastructure of packaging division comprising of the in-house manufacturing of Preforms, Closures, Crowns, Sleeves, Labels, Polythene and Cartons including its Sales Operations.

Also involved in the ongoing green field mega beverage and packaging projects at three different locations in Vietnam and other brown field projects at the Binh Duong manufacturing facility.

▪ Rolled out and initiated a three year US $ 42.0 M Cost Savings plan for the organization out of which cost savings of US $ 3.5 M
were to be carried out in 2013 which were under good progress.
▪ Successful in carrying out improvements in Manufacturing and Supply Chain KPI’S by the reduction in the MRO inventory,
enhancement in Line Utilization, improvements in syrup yield, reduction in wastages, enhancement in CCFOT.

▪ Rolled out and initiated the AIBI Audit System.
