Kuwait National Petroleum Company's (KNPC) Clean Fuels Project
(CFP) involves the upgrade and integration of the Mina Abdulla (MAB) &
Mina Al Ahmadi (MAA) refineries. As the project is too big and in order to
avoid overlap at contractors' works the project is divided into 3 packages:
- MAA Package: led by JGC, GS E&C and SK E&C.
- MAB Package (1): led by Petrofac in cooperation with Samsung Eng. & CB&I.
- MAB Package (2): led by Fluor in cooperation with Daewoo and Hyundai.

Duties & Responsibilities
 Preparing, Checking & modifying of Shop / Construction drawings & datas.
a) TML Drawings and data (Thickness Measurement Location).
b) JCRF drawings and data (Joint Change Request Form).
c) FCS drawings and data (field change sheet).
 Submitting / Issuing Drawings and Datas to various Sections
(QC, Construction Mangement System-CMS, Test Pack, Painting etc.)
 Updating datas in CMS (Construction Mangement System).
 Coordinating with subcontractor. (Supervisor, spoolgen team & QC).
 Preparing weekly and daily progress reports.

Duties & Responsibilities
 Preparing Shop drawings - Layout and Standard Details from design
drawings for the following disciplines:
a) Portable Water Network
b) Storm Water Network
c) Irrigation Network
d) Electrical Network
e) Roads
 Detail sketches for pipe fittings and pipe interconnection as requested.
 Assisting Engineer in taking quantity take-off from drawings.
 Preparing As-Built Drawings as per ministry requirements incorporating all
revisions made during Construction Period.
 Well versed in drawings using X-refs and in coordination between all
services while preparing shop drawings
 Familiar with GIS (Geographic Information System) in drawings as built
drawings to ministry standard (MPW and MEW).
