Handling and converting Meetings, Events, and Group inquiries.
Planning events in conjunction with the client.
Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds.
Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events.
Negotiate space, dates, and rates to obtain booking goals while focusing on shoulder and off-season business.
Each month review the next 6 months' availability to highlight high or low-demand dates and take steps to minimize the risk of any shortfall or overbookings.
Assist in preparing and monitoring sales, department, and budgetary reports as and when required.
Assist in the operation once the event starts and be involved in the pre-briefing with the operation team to make sure to pay attention to all highlighted points of services required by the client to meet the guest's expectation

● Offers, special promotions & contracts for FIT, Groups & Long stay
● Follow up on all decision deadlines
● Proposals for meeting & banqueting including Out Door Catering
● Competition checks
● PR to all key/ potential accounts
● Marketing exposure through Local Road Shows & Exhibitions
● Assisting DOSM in preparing for all internal meetings related to sales &
marketing department.
● Adhere to deposit guidelines
● Handling all negotiations for groups, B2B contacts,
● Planning for 3 months ahead (focusing on main points for sales plans,
sales calls, telesales, sales blitz
● Entertainment, site inspection and attending major
local exhibition
● Maintaining and updating accurate data of
accounts - production, lost/ repeat business
& recaptured accounts.
● Carrying out hotel tours and
sight inspections
● Planning organization of contracted rates with customers
● Handling negotiations and reservation agreements for groups
● Attending weekly and monthly sales & marketing meeting
● Planning for weekly sales schedule / preparing weekly sales report
● Good communications with all government sectors

(production, lost business, repeated business….. etc.
● Providing support and clear communication with banquet administration
& banquet operations for events.
● Handling and managing accounts (corporate and seizure
● Handling conference and banquet sales
● Devising marketing plans and assisting in preparing budgets
● Public relations and marketing of the property
Government / Corporate/ Mice -
● Implement all sales action plans related to the market area
● Establish and maintain files on major active accounts
● Promote and produce sales leads for sister hotels
● Entertain minimum of 5 accounts on a weekly basis
