PROJECT DETAILS: SADARA Project (DOW and ARAMCO) / Sadara Site Construction (62, 000 peak manpower.
• Enforce the Sadara project EHS standards/procedures through site safety walkthroughs, site visits,
coaching visits, site surveys and site assessments/audits.
• Plan and organize schedules to cover the site for a regular official site visits, site surveys and
site audits.
• Write-up total safety task observations (TSTO); recognize/appreciate the Asset EHS and
Construction teams for any safety compliance or non-compliance in site. Coordinate with
Asset EHS or Construction representatives for any EHS non-compliance and/or EHS violation for
intervention and rectification.
• Feedback and report to the immediate EHS Lead or Deputy EHS Manager in daily basis on site
conditions of daily site activities, highlighting the significant compliance and non-compliance
to EHS standards.
• Monitor the safety observations for action and close-out by the concerned Asset/Project.
• Perform survey/audit on the assigned Asset sites on its heat stress compliance and for the
heat stress monthly awarding (months of May to September).
• Perform assessments/audit on the assigned Asset sites on the safety work systems performance,
focused on Site Supervisors competence.
• Prepare and submit a Weekly EHS Significant Observations to the EHS Manager.
• Work and report for Friday works as per schedule for EHS coverage.
• Attend and participate the safety moment presentation of KBR weekly EHS meeting and EHS Dept. weekly meeting.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME), to make research on safety matters assigned as needed.
• Attend RCIs (Root Cause Investigations) of incidents as client representative. Follow-up the
close-out actions (corrective and preventive actions).
• Rendering support to contractor enabling them to implement safe work practice at site.
• Assist the contractors in reviewing risk assessments and considering method to reduce risks.
• Weekly walkthrough with Asset and contractor representatives and assessment on site condition.
• Recording of potential or significant incidents and accidents for cascading to the site.
• Advices on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, environmental, scaffolding, rigging &
Lifting, electrical and equipment inspections etc.
• Conduct PSI to rate contractor’s performance of safety standards based on field and administration inspections.

• Reports to the area manager, project manager and corporate HSE manager.
• Indirectly reports to the Client’s site HSE manager for all safety concerns, project requirements and reports.
• Manage and supervise the safety department team of safety personnel.
• Conduct incident investigations and prepare incident reports as required.
• Review safety plans, safety procedures for the company as required by the project.
• Review method statements, risk assessments and JSA for any upcoming significant activity.
• Participate and co-organize the management weekly walkthrough inspection and weekly safety meetings.
• Facilitate and expedite the closure of safety observations and audit comments in cooperation with concerned departments.
• Conduct regular safety audits, based on safety focus of the month or quarter.
• Conduct internal trainings and coordinate the attendance of the client’s training activities.
• Cooperate and attend the conduct of safety committee meetings.
• Attend the Contractor-Subcontractor weekly progress meetings.
• Prepare weekly and monthly safety statistics reports for submission to the Client.
• Conduct internal safety audits to improve the compliance of safety policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement safety motivational programs like monthly best safety workers and supervisors, best safety slogan and best safety observations.
• Prepare lessons learned bulletins, safety flashes and weekly mass tool box topics.
