Client: Exterran Nig. Limited & Halliburton Energy Services Limited.
Project: Fabrication, Installation & Commissioning of Portakabins at Oguta Camp & HCT/ Total Gina Tools Rack, Fabrication and Construction of 5nos of Pressure Vessel (SILO)
Responsibilities:
• Liaise with Project Manager SUNATECH and the CLIENT or their representative and if necessary attend any meeting to keep them informed of progress.
• Ensuring quality control is adequately carried out as per client’s specification.
• Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per project specification.
• Responsible for implementations of client’s procedure.
• Visual Inspections and Radiographic Interpretation on the piping spool welded joint.
• Interpretation of piping isometric drawing and dimensional check of every fitted, fabricated joint, In conformity with the isometric diagram, drawing and project specification.
• Facility piping on daily welded joint report and update Documentation, Daily fabrication spool traceability of weld joints, repair rate, identification of NDT rejected joints and marking out for repair with respect to the RT report.
• Supervision of the load-out fabrication Portakabins and Pressure Vessel (Silo) to site location.
• To make sure all materials used on the AFC drawing are as specified and used for the construction.
• Supervision of NDT activities carried out such as (VT, MPI, UT & RT).
• Prepared Shop Weld Summary /Traceability Record.
• Finally QA Documentation, Field Punch list & Test Pack Preparation for Hydrostatic test

Job Responsibilities
• Visual inspection of welded joints of pipes made with SLAW and GMAW using API 1104 and client’s (TOTAL) specification GS E PLR 420
• Representative of my company during welders qualification according to ASME IX.
• Preparation and Supervision of Work Plan.
• Monitor consumable storage and Electrode baking and holding temperature including control and issue and verification of lot numbers before being used by welders.
• Conduct fit up and dimensional inspection and test plan (ITP) and provide technical guidance to prevent distortion during welding.
• Measurement of pre-heat and inter pass temperature during welding.
• Performs Destructive Test for the Welders Qualification test piece based on specified spec. AWS D1.1 and API 1104.
• Ensure the use of Approved WPS, consumables and materials used during Welding and fabrication.
• Prepare Daily weld Report (DWR).
• Report all inspection findings including details of any NCR.
• Prepare NDT request form for completed weld joint.
• Update welders register.
• Preparation and Qualification of welding procedure specification.
• Interpretation and Supervision of fabrication of process piping and .structures based on Drawings.
• Carryout material inspection and trace ability.
• Carryout quality control activities on pipeline stringing.
• Carryout quality control activities on 42’’ pipe bending.
• Compiling and double checking of work packs.
• Witnessing pressure testing.
• Surveillance during welding ( checking of welding current and inter pass cleaning).
• Witnessing the calibration of the welding machines and electrode quivers.
• Witnessing of Hydro Test and report writing.
• Inspect fit ups before welding commences.
• Carry out material inspection and trace ability.
