Perform inspection on all Civil, Architectural & Structural works for the construction of : Security Buildings, Sunshade Shelter, X ray Support Equipment Building, Space Frame, Security Fence and Gates, Site Warehouse, Power hub bldg., Emergency Generator Building, Chiller Enclosure, Raw Material Warehouse, Fitness Center Building, Cafeteria Building, Masala, Storm Water Retention Basin, Storm Water Sump, Drainage, Culvert, Ditch, Concrete Paving and Asphalt Paving.
Monitor Contractors daily activities to ensure that they comply to the approved ITP/Checklist & Work Procedure
Inspect, Test & Measure materials. Inform Contractors to remove / quarantine the materials that failed to meet specifications.
Perform inspection on formworks, reinforcement, embedded items and request MEP clearance prior to concrete pouring
Witness sampling and Testing on fill placement and compaction, DFT, slump test, concrete & asphalt temperature
Monitor erection of structural steel and components such as alignment, bolt torqueing, grout placement, metal roof and leak test to ensure conformance to approve IFC drawing, AISC and PIP( Process Industry Practices )
Validate Contractors installation of fire rated paint, doors, windows, glass, gypsum board and blast resistant doors
Perform inspection on all finishing work such as plaster wall and floor finish, gypsum board, acoustic board installation, steel framing work, miscellaneous metal installation, roofing installation, water proofing installation, fire proofing of steel structures
Review documents submitted by Contractors such as material data for Architectural building finishes, Method Statement, ITP/Checklist, MDS, Structural and Miscellaneous steel
Issued Surveillance Report and NCR for major violation observed and follow up to Contractors for corrective action
Advised Contractors, ensuring compliance to IFC Drawing, SADARA Standards, and relevant standards on daily basis.
Attend Pre construction meeting and giving support to PMT & Contractors to meet the project quality requirements
Attend Weekly walkthrough to support PMT and raised quality issues during final meeting
Coordinate with PMT Construction and Engineering for all design issues
Perform other duties assigned as member of final close out team to close all civil punch list & resolve outstanding issues
Carry out inspection as per the approved IT&P and IFC Drawings for the construction of Delayed Coker Unit but not limited to the following: Two (2) Substation, Coker Heater, Maze Pit, Coke Pit, Coke Drum, LPG Merox, Erection of Structural Steel building, Security Fence, V-Ditch, Asphalt Paving
Review and provide comments on all Quality documents submitted by EPC contractors such as : Quality Plan, IT& P, Work Procedure, Method Statement, IFC Drawings.
Attend QAQC Weekly meetings and raised concerns regarding site observations to mitigate Non conformity and assist PMT and Contractors to resolved major Quality issues.
Closely monitor all civil works activities particularly Hold Points to ensure contractors compliance to the standards and specifications.
Issued violations to the Contractor for non compliance and generate NCR for major non compliance and report to the Quality Manager for records and documentation.
Prepares and submit Quality highlights and weekly reports to Quality Department for information and records.
Review Contractors materials submitta prior to used at site if it conforms to the international standards such as ACI, ASTM and AASHTO. (e.g. Ready Mix Concrete, Reinforcing bars, Portland Cement, Non Shrink Grout, Epoxy Grout, CHB and building finishes).
Conduct interview/exam and provide recommendation of all Contractors Civil QC personnel prior to deploy at jobsite to ensure that their qualification meets the Aramco standards.
Attend weekly Safety meetings and Trainings and comply with companys health, safety and environment managenet system requirements
Participate in RFC walkthrough, raised and closed punch list, log book entry and NC report
Perform inspection on all Civil Woks for the construction of :
Oil and Gas Maintain Potential Pipelines, Upgarde Sulphur Plants at Uthmaniya Gas Plants, Sewerage Treatment Plant in Udhaliyah, Haradh Gas Plant, UDH & SHGP Sulfur Upgrade, Optimize production in mubarraz area, 115 KV Substation & Flare upgrade.
Perform Inspection and Quality Assurance on projects to ensure that contractor meets the schedule on time in compliance to approved IFC drawing, Work Procedure, Quality Plans and Clients requirements,
Perform in depth design reviews to verify conformance to Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and Specifications
Review and comments on Quality Plan, ITP & Work Procedure developed by Construction Contractors
Monitor up to 15 QAQC Engineer at any one time to ensure QC perosnnel from Contractors are effective
Provide monthly inspection of concrete Batching plant and Asphalt Batching Plant to ensure high quality of materials
Review and provide input on Project Quality Index, Quality Management Report and monthly deliverables
Inspect construction through to Mechanical Completion on capital and non- capital projects of SAudi Aramco
Perform Internal Audit of completion stage for the construction work phases as directed by the Supervisor
Coordinate with Aramco Consulting Services Department for all conflicts in Standard and Drawings.
Directly reporting to SAudi Aramco supervisor and provide input on Quality related issues at site
Liase cloaely with client and contractor, resolving major all on site and contarctual problems
Responsible for the inspection of all Civil works on Qatar Petroleum Housing Project
Ensured Contractor adherence to IFC Drawing, QCS, Project Specification and relevant standards
Advised on quality Assurance / Quality Control documentation, procedures and systems
Perform internal inspection prior to raised RFI for client witness of inspection and acceptance
Initiate pro active notification to site engineers to prevent or lessen the potential non conformities of work
Identifying and reporting work not in accordance with specifications and make recommendations for corrective action
Develop inetrnal punchlist to minimize violation and assist client representative for inspection
Coordinate with the laboratory technician and arrange sampling and testing of satisfactorily completed work
Monitores all new major construction and renovation of various office, residential and industrial buildings
