• Provides technical and engineering support to all site operation staff to ensure that all items of work and details are carried-out on site as per the approved shop drawings, materials and specifications.
• Coordinates and ensures that all MEPFS and all other trade work items fit into the overall architectural design system through actual site inspections and continuous monitoring of work and coordination.
• Assess the actual site condition on various design conflicts/issues and confer or provide means, details and/or solutions to properly achieve a non-detrimental, acceptable and workable end product.
• Monitoring of the various construction activities on accomplishments and balance works and to make sure that an activity is of the best workmanship, completed on or before the target schedule, and on-budget
• Review and improve existing designs, as appropriate or necessary, to increase the ease of construction, including the consideration and anticipation of unforeseen events, details, problems and/or conflicts of design which may possibly occur with the actual site situation and/or condition.
• Coordination of structural details to fit with the overall architectural finishing standards and designs.
• Sequencing and coordination of work items as they should be carried out on site and as per the planned schedule to avoid repairs, chipping and redoing of a completed item of work.
• Collaboration with the sub-contractors and all other trades to ensure that all drawings and details of work items are properly coordinated, in consideration of the system and procedure of installation, to achieve the quality and workmanship required and in adherence to company standards, procedures & codes.
• Performs on-site monitoring of work as they are being carried out to reduce snag/punch list to a minimum.
