Position: Planner II - Turnaround

Basic Function:
• To organize and manage unit outage activities, including stakeholder coordination for scope development, schedule and budget control, material selection and reservation, work package preparation, site readiness, execution monitoring, and contingency planning—while ensuring safety remains the highest priority.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop long-term and short-term maintenance plans, including preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and major shutdowns.
• Prepare detailed, high-quality work packages that include accurate task steps, safety procedures, cost estimates, detailed schedule timeline and necessary tools.
• Act as a subject matter expert for the Computerized Maintenance Management System maintaining accurate equipment history, Bill of Materials (BOM), and tracking KPIs.
• Liaise between maintenance teams, operation teams, and inventory control to ensure parts and materials are ready for scheduled tasks.
• Lead, train, and mentor junior planners and group members to ensure consistent work methods, KPIs, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Analyze maintenance records to identify recurring defects, optimize component change-out intervals, and reduce overall maintenance costs.
• Call and conduct meetings with all concerns to collect detailed scope including hold or inspection points from Engineering and special concerns from Safety Department.
• Unit outage execution monitoring and daily progress report update and dissemination.
• Analyze, investigate, and propose recommendation and contingency plan on possible issues arise during outage preparation and execution.
• Supports turnaround execution activities.
