Hospital biomedical in-charge. responsible for the calibration, preventive maintenance, repairs of medical equipment, training, inventory control and documentation of all biomedical services. And coordinates with the service providers to develop and implement preventive maintenance program, with scheduled checks of all medical equipment which are under warranty or annual maintenance contract. He shall participate in achieving department goals and objectives and perform in accordance with overall hospital policies.

Install, adjust, maintain, repair or provide technical support for biomedical equipment Maximizes patient safety by supporting proper use, application and operational performance for patient care equipment. And provides critical problem solving and decision-making including work prioritization of equipment with higher clinical repair needs
Supervises, coordinates and influences all functions related to the daily safety testing, repair and maintenance of biomedical patient care equipment. Provides on-site leadership for all components of the medical equipment management plan. Maximizes patient safety by supporting proper use, application and operational performance for patient care equipment. Provides critical problem solving and decision making including work prioritization of equipment with higher clinical repair needs. And daily monitoring for medical gases(oxygen, nitrous oxide, air, vacuum and AGSS) & specially switching of banks for liquid oxygen.
Ensure that all medical equipment is properly maintained and documented. Evaluate the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of biomedical equipment. Install, adjust, maintain, repair or provide technical support for biomedical equipment. Train clinicians and other personnel on the proper use of equipment. In-charged in O.T., I.C.U. & medical gases(oxygen, nitrous oxide, air, vacuum and AGSS), performed daily routine check/inspections and restoration of system fault.
System installations, troubleshooting, service and repair. Performed PM and complete assigned service calls. Documenting daily service action through the company work order data base. And Assisting fellow field service engineer with more complex installations and repairs.
