- Ensure proper work permit systems implementation and execution for all maintenance jobs and confirming all HSE compliances.
- Taking proper decisions and actions during fire, spillage, leakage, injury accidents and preparing FIR.
- Ensuring 100% housekeeping at workplace.
- Understanding, locating and operating emergency stop buttons, Plant Air system/Breathing Air system, HC detector system, safety shower, fire hydrant, gas tester etc.
- Understanding and performing complete process operation, start ups, shutdowns and handle all types of emergencies as per procedures safely and timely.
- Taking proper decisions during failure of any utility supply from outside agency or any in-house utility parameters upset and to bring the plantback to normal conditions.
- Understanding and reviewing of P&IDs, PFDs, heat and mass balance of all utilities, cause and effect chart, all control systems, logics, normal operating parameters, alarms and trip values.
- Understanding and operating of all the equipment, packaged items as per procedure.
- Keep record of chemical consumption and inventory availability in stores.
- Arranging/receiving of chemicals from stores and make up into the system.
- Optimizing process parameters and to ensure on spec utilities at all times.
- Ensuring preparation of equipment for handling over to maintenance.
- Preparation of blind lists, mark-up P&IDs for maintenance purpose to have positive isolation and ensuring all safety aspects should be carry out in all maintenance jobs.

- Monitors plant functions by reading gauges, graphs, meters and control panels, and by performing and evaluating chemical tests; changes plant operations to adjust processing needs, adjust pumps, flow valves and feeder systems.
- Checks process parameters and coordinates with MCR to correct any deviations.
- Performs routine checks on equipment and reports abnormalities for corrective action.
- Signs work permits, follows on-going jobs and monitor Contractor’s activities. Considers the safety regulations and procedures and stops any unsafe permits and activities.
- Performs minor maintenance activities as per agreed procedures.
- Adjusts operating parameters, as instructed, to sustain continuous roduction whilst maintaining a high degree of awareness.

- Develop and establish a system for monitoring all fuel and lube oil consumption of the managed fleet to further enhance cost-effectiveness thereby reducing the vessel operating cost of the ship-owners.
- Monitor all fuel and lube oil consumptions of the managed fleet, study the trend and provide technical evaluation in coordination with respective Fleet Managers and Superintendents to include the following:
a. Most economical fuel and lube oil consumption
b. Fuel and lube oil inventory management
c. Fuel and lube oil specifications
- Conduct periodical and on the spot fuel and lube oil soundings/inventory and make comparisons with the reported consumptions to ensure accuracy of reporting.
- Conceptualize, propose, implement, and monitor appropriate fuel savings program for the managed fleet.
- Conduct periodical and on the spot lube oil analysis using in-house test kits.
- Monitor and establish current trend of fuel and lube oil costs to optimize fuel oil savings.
- Extend assistance in the implementation and monitoring of the Condition (Predictive) Monitoring Maintenance System to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

- Make necessary adjustments to the production and utility systems based on operating parameters.
- Maintain and complete regular production and maintenance records / logs / reports.
- Assist in routine maintenance on all plant systems and participate in isolating plant and equipment for major maintenance and operational activities.
- Supervise operators in areas of operation.
- Monitor work site, ensures fulfilling relevant work permit conditions.
- Ensure that equipment and systems are integrated safety into operation after completion of work.
- Discussed and acquaint operators with Operating Philosophies, Procedures, Manuals, and Standing Instructions.
- Monitor plant operating parameters to ensure compliance with operational documentation during routine and non routine work activities.
- Adhere to established operational documentation and work methods.
- Attend safety group meetings, raise near misses and substandard condition reports.
- Operate all site production systems and equipment in accordance with operational documentation; Maintain data, documents and records to ensure plant is working within design parameters.

- Participate in commissioning and pre-commissioning activities of our new tanks and newly installed equipment.
- Conducts normal operations, start-up and shutdown of the process in accordance with our standard operating procedures.
- Head Supervises and coordinates activities of workers involved in loading and unloading petroleum products, such as diesel and Bunker fuel into and from barges, ships, or tankers at marine terminal
- Receives instructions pertaining to vessel movements, types and quantities of crude oil and petroleum products to be received or delivered, facilities to be used, and loading schedules.
- Reads gauging and pumping reports and bills of lading to verify receipt or delivery of specified products. May supervise workers engaged in loading and unloading tank cars and trucks, and receiving, storing, and issuing petroleum products.
- Coordinating with shipper's local agent upon the vessel arrival.
- Measure and report monthly basis processing yields and capacity levels.
- Maintain focus on cost reduction and quality enhancement.
- Maintain an attitude of continuous improvement
- Responsible for working with Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, and Materials to ensure the regulatory requirements for ISO 9002 are met.
- Barge inspection if it is fit for loading of our solvent products.
- Testing of petroleum products before loading to our storage tanks by distillation, specific gravity, gas chromatography and other petroleum testing based on ASTM standards.
- Counter checking vessel's actual volume of petroleum products by actual measurement to see if it is in accordance with our Bill of Lading.
