Job Description: Craftsman III - Machinist
• Involved in the erection of machines for the on-going construction of the plant, EPC-1 Delayed Coker Unit & Mercaptan Unit Project.
o With the Supervision of the machine suppliers (Spain - Technigas Reunidas), (NSH - main contractor & of Technigas Reunidas) & the Project Management Team of YASREF directly involved during the erection & installation of the machines especially Pumps, Fin Fans, Compressors & Turbines.
o Handle mechanical works for the Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance of the plant upon start-up & during operation.
Rotating Equipments (Pumps, Fin Fans, Compressors, Turbines, Forced & Induced Draft Fans & Cranes).
o Directly involved for the checking, alignment for all rotating equipment being installed by the supplier & contractor.
Actual Alignment (Skid Leveling, Pump & Motor)
Coupling Alignment (Pump & Motor)
With the Supervision of the machine suppliers (South Korea - Hansol EME, Hyundai, Kyong Yung), (Germany - Andritz, GSPT, GW), (Austria - Cellwood).
Erection & fixing.

Alignment & setting of machines.

Commissioning & testing of machines, valves & programs
• Run Test (rotation, no load & w/load) for machines & pumps.
o Setting of minimum, overload & trip load for machines & pumps upon motor running, trip timers
• Valve Calibration & setting (DCS to field), signal & control checking, loop checking
o Setting of closing & opening limits for control valves for alarms during running (for safe operation purpose also)
• Pressure, Temperature, Level & Flow Transmitter calibration & setting, signal & control checking, loop checking
o Setting of lower & higher limits for alarms during running for safety (for safe operation purpose also)
• Program simulation of machines using the DCS, checking of timer during machine group run mode & stop mode, how long it will finish the run simulation for the machines.
Start-up & running of machine
• Run & operate machines using the DCS
o Perform visual & field checking before starting of machine for safety purposes
o Start & adjust setting simultaneously with regards to the safe running & operation of machines
• Handled Plant Improvement Projects (Erection, Commissioning, Start-up).
o Supervised improvement projects for the plant (Mechanical, Electrical & Instrument) with the help of Technicians
• Developed & continuously updating MTBF/MTBR for equipment.
• Create & develop Annual Maintenance Planned for Machine.
• Create & develop Predictive, Preventive Maintenance & Corrective Maintenance for Machine.

Job Description: Production Supervisor/Shift Engineer
Basic Function: Supervised Paper Machine, Stock Preparation & De-inking Plant in accordance with plant operation plan, also supervised personnel in performing maintenance schedules during machine shutdown.
• Supervised & directly involved in day to day production activities.
o Personnel & work planning/scheduling during operation.
o Supervised operation & maintenance shutdown work/activities.
• Update & procure machine spares & consumables.
o Make sure that spares & consumables are always available.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer & passed the licensure examination. (April 2000)
