• Managed the various accounts of general ledgers, to ensure their appropriate balance at every fixed period; for a subsequent preparation of financial statements.
• Made use of all relevant books of prime entry to design trial balances; verify accuracy of financial records, and ensure all error corrections before financial statements’ preparation.
• Prepared Profit and Loss Accounts, and subsequently; Statement of Comprehension Income, Statements of Financial Position, Statements of Cash Flow and Statements of Owners’ Equity, based on companies’ accounting year end, as well as presentation preferences.
• Derived financial information from financial statements such as Return on Shareholders’ Equity (ROE), Return on Assets (ROA) or Times Interest Earned; and compiled analytical tables (common-size income statements used for comparison) so as enable an in-depth analysis of business performance.
• In all accounting procedures, made use of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, in order to make sure of the viability and reliability of accounting produces: revenue recognition, matching principle, materiality, entity principle, conservatism, going concern, consistency, prudence, and so on.
