Taking and monitoring vital signs
Helping and teaching clients about personal hygiene
Assisting and monitoring post operative, post abortion and pregnant clients.
Performing procedures such as:
IV insertion, Blood transfusion, Blood extraction
Giving perenteral and oral medications
Catheterization / Oxygenation, ECG
Internal examination - to assess progress of labor
CTG - cardiotopography
Post partum, post operative care, Newborn care
Providing client’s care
Giving medications
Assisting clients in doing their routines
Responsible for scheduling the clients
Reminding client due to prophylaxis and other dental procedures
Assisting doctor in dental procedures such as:
Prophylaxis, Fillings (white and amalgam)
Impression for dentures, crown and bridges
Tooth extraction (simple and complex)
Tooth Lamination, Maintaining cleanliness in the clinic, Sterilizing instruments
Assisting doctors in emergency room and ward
