Managed credit control activities of the organization, all over UAE including 4 branches & Export Dept. Managed & responsible for day today activities of credit control for approving orders for unpaid, risky and over limit customers.
Managed organization from opening of accounts, maintaining relation with customers till collection. Maintained & Managed Sales wing (Local & Export), Invoicing, Customer Service, Accounts & Logistic for smooth operation for credit control together as a team of nearly 100 staffs.
Attend debtorʼs meeting and provide management with an update on risk exposure & initiate with proper actions.
Initiate for legal action if customers remaining bad debt after follow up.
Ensuring active management of aged debt to meet collection targets and prevent cancellations by improving early deposit collections.
Participates in developing and documenting policies, procedures, and internal controls for the AR process.
Produce and manage weekly reports to Management. Responsible for managing a portfolio of aged debt accounts Streamlining the reconciliation process.
Manage relationship with external debt agency, track progress and success rate on cases passed over. Develop reports for management and the board.
Establish and maintain risk management framework.
Work combined with credit manager to oversee the administration and management of the entire Accounts Receivable function.
Conduct key risk meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
Coordinated month‑end close of accounting books with accounting staff and presented it to the management. Analyzed monthly accounting statements, balance sheets and income statements prepared by accounting staff. Reviewed, approved and maintained journal entries, ledger, schedules and balance sheets. Carried out analysis on income statements and organizational cash flow. Interacted with various departments to solve accounting issues and discrepancies. Prepare and submit the group's monthly financial results, budget and quarterly rolling forecasts and complete the reporting requirements to the parent company. Perform detailed account analysis and corporate month‑end processing and reporting. Review the monthly Business Activity Statements and review all monthly balance sheet Reconciliations. Review and authorize the weekly accounts payable run. Maintaining weekly cash flow to get the picture for in and out flow of the company. Improve existing processes and streamline workflows. Preparing Annual Budget and forecasting trends. Developing reports for top management summarizing the business financial position in areas of income, expenses, capital usage and cash flows, and coordinate the preparation of strategic plans, budgets and financial forecast. Developing and updating accounting, finance and management policies and procedures. Effective Cash Flow Management. Monitoring budgets and comparing them with actual cost and revenues related to production, marketing and capital.
