As a part of an Oil and energy commodities trading company, I have experience with the following logistical activities:
• Assist customers with enquires, and raise RFQ with suppliers.
• Maintain contact with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Audit freight cost and documentation.
• Review bills, invoices and purchase order.
• Ensure all payments are processed in time
• Preparation and processing of shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin and Quality Certificates.
• Create packing lists and update shipment information in database.
• Organize files both manually and electronically.
• Arranging insurance cover of shipments.
• Understanding of Documentary Letters of Credit
Worked for a major oil and gas client, and played a link between the customer and the service provider.
• Nascent management experience and worked as Business analyst with an IT company for 14 months.
• Worked in a team of five, and contributed by providing domain-specific inputs, daily reports of day-to-day operations, planning, and tracking and status reports.
• Gained process insight and participated in group discussions to analysis and improve the process flow.
• Gather change requests from the client. After discussions with team, recommend the feasibility of implementation of change request.
• Exposure in identifying and categorizing business requirements, documentation and preparation of integrated test plans.
• Ensure that all the processes and requirements are accurately defined in the proposal. Maintain the master documentation and regularly check for its validity.
• Ensure that all requirements have been captured and any risks identified.
• Preparation of a functional test plan to direct the steps of the process and help figure out the errors.

Completed my MBA with specialization in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. During the course, I successfully completed an internship with a Third Party Service (3PL) provider in Delhi, where-in my project was focused on identifying the competitive scenario of cold storages in and around Delhi. This included preparing a profile of each cold chain industry players in Delhi, market research and analysis of the market using models (SWOT, PEST). Also completed an internship with a Freight forwarder and logistic service provider in Kuwait, where i gained an overview of the freight forwarding (sea and air) operations, viz. • Booking of import and export cargo • Export / Import documentation • Review of commercial invoices, L/C’s and in-house B/L • Sea / Air Consolidation My major project during the course was aimed at finding the "Logistical factors affecting International Trade" with respect to India. After studying the Indian logistical infrastructure scenario, a regression analysis (MS Excel) was conducted to find out factors affecting India's logistic performance. I also completed a minor project in "Introduction to Accounting" where I had to to project an account statement and Investor Analysis for a mock company. Based on a case study of an existing logistics company, I prepared a mock company with its P/L statement and Balance sheet using MS Excel.
