- Provides technical expertise for infrastructure and product (e.g., scalability, security, availability, integration);
- Acts as the prime point of contact for customer design concerns; - Technical pre-sales support activities, including RFI/RFP responses, pre-sales calls, and Q&A for customer prospects;
- Technical liaison for partner design solution concerns;
- Provides input in the selection of products/solutions and recommendation on how to improve services;
- Architect and design solutions in order to meet customer SLA’s and assure closure of the deal.
- Produces all related documentation including framework, methodology, process, diagrams, templates, workshops;
- Develops knowledge of our customer’s environment to participate in customer’s discussion and facilitate integration, add recommendation and increase the pre-sales customer satisfaction ratio;
- Keeps updated on new technologies and our customer’s environment (attending trainings and seminars);
-Develops and maintains general knowledge of our product line.
Presales Engineer dealing with various sectors including Hospitality, operators, service providers, educational institutions, retail and others within the MENA and Gulf region (KSA, UAE, Jordan, etc..) with expertise in proposing ICT, Digitization, Wireless Communication, systems security solutions and managed security solutions by adopting the below duties:
• Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
• Coordinates closely with sales team and account managers to align solution design with customers’ business requirements.
• Opportunistically pursue additional business development opportunities within customer firms.
• Tender response management, Respond to vendor questions and submission timelines.
• Vendor selection, work closely with representatives from potential vendors to deliver the best offer.
• respond to requests for information or requests for proposals from customers, supplying the technical details of proposed solutions
- Manage and ensure effectiveness of security
solutions for network infrastructure and endpoint
security.
• Implemented and maintained Bitdefender and Kaspersky endpoint security system.
• Configured and maintained Barracuda Next Gen Firewall and Email Security Gateway.
• Configured and maintained Cisco wireless controllers and APs.
• Configured Cisco CUCM and Cisco IP Telephony
• Configured Imagicle Billing system.
• Implemented and configured Password Access Management (PAM) Solution from Beyond Trust.
• Configured and maintained Symantec Packet Shaper.
• Generate detailed Bill of Quantities for low current systems(CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, Public Address)
• Analyze the tender drawings, specifications then estimate the Project material & services cost.
• Prepare of all engineering documents required during bid submission like drawings, single line diagrams, design basis, project schedule, technical reports, data sheets.
• Prepare company’s technical response to tender and provide proposals.
