Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) at the beginning of each shift to ensure room are set as contracted.
Confirm and setup A/V equipment needs to contract for the event.
Prepare rooms for use; adjusting lights, sound volumes, and temperature as needed for before guests arrive.
Be in communication with the lead catering staff regarding any special needs.
Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the Conference Center.
Communicate any areas of need, problems, and concerns from guest to Banquet Manager.
Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs,
removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
Delivering Alcoholic and Non alcoholic drinks for service to your customers table.
Properly open and pour wine at the tableside.
Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
Greet all guests and owners warmly with an appropriate greeting.
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
Understands and can communicate products and services available at the resort
Provide all group guests with a lasting experience of the resort with intent for return business.
- Taking the offer request from the companies, agencies for groups and events
- Sending the offers and hotel broschures ( promotion if available ) back
- Follow up after sending the offers and renegotiation ( upon case )
- Creating special packages for groups/ conferences/ events
- Signing contracts and its annexes with the companies and agencies for negotiated rates ( based on their productivity or on their forecast )
- Developing the guests portofolio ( telemarketing, meetings at the companies )
- Meeting with the clients for site inspection, negotiation, signing the contracts, tasting, lunches
- Drafting the local events ( Conferences, Seminars, Christmas Corporate Parties, Press Conference )
- Setting up the menus ( for groups, coffee breaks, lunches, dinner ), the halls set-up ( U-shape, Theatre, Classroom, Reception ), request/ preferences came from the organizer
- Follow up after the events, in order to acknowledge the guests oppinion about the product and services, in order to improve the quality
- Welcoming the guests and make the check-in according to their requests ( smoking/ non smoking floors, hight floors, quiet rooms, accessible rooms )
- Following the in-house guests, ballances and making the procedure of closing portofolio, issuing the invoices on the company name, if requested, check-out procedure
- Taking bookings by phone and operating them into Fidelio, helping the guests to arrive at the hotel, providing information
- Night Auditor - checking the daily financial operations made by the front desk and F&B, transmitting the reports forward to the other departments ( hosekeeping, restaurant )
- Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service
