Nature of Job, Duties & Responsibilities

 Short list the enquiry to be quoted.
 Checking the quotations prepared by the Estimation Engineers
 Preparation of Bills of Quantities and Bills of Materials Steel Structure from drawings.
 Raising requisition for material to purchase department.
 Sending enquiries for sub contracting.
 Evaluating offer from sub contractor.
 Cost Estimation (Fabrication, Painting, erection) and preparation of technical (review clients specification and analyze the methods of fabrication and calculate man-machine hrs and Material take off from drawing and specification for the materials) and commercial proposal against tenders received from various clients.
 Sending enquiries of various items. ( Plates, , Bought out items etc )
 Interact with clients for techno - commercial aspects.
 Prepare the estimation sheet for inter office purposes.
 Issue the Job sheet with Fabrication hrs & related scope of work
 Analyze and evaluate the scope of work after the receipt of P.O. from customer.
 Prepare extra claim for additional/ variation works done.
