• Conducting safety induction, including training programs for new employees, subcontractors and as well as visitors
• Monitor, measure and report HSE performance to the corporate HSE department, Develop trend analysis and implement appropriate improvement programs
• Implement and maintain the company HSE policy of commitment to continual improvement in HSE performance at site
• Prepare risk assessments for different activities from substructure to the construction activities
• Ensure regular audits/inspection of all safety, fire protection/prevention equipment of all operating sites to ensure adherence to safety standards and codes of practice
• Investigate accidents/Incidents/Near misses to identify and immediate and root causes and advice the project personnel on learning points and preventive measures
• Recommend corrective measures, follow-up necessary actions and report progress achieved
• Manage site HSE Supervisors/Officers
• Ensure all site permit systems are current and relevant for intended purposes and all requirements are met on a continual basis
• Liaison as necessary with client and relevant authorities on technical, health and safety issues and ensure cooperation concerning audits and remedial actions.
• Initiate adequate prevention, precautions and control exposure to hazardous substances, and danger from flammable, electrical, noise, vibration and manual handling risks.
• Ensure strict compliance with "Permit to work" (PTW), Inspection of Plants/Equipments, and ensure that lifting equipments, fire fighting systems, scaffolding, confined space, excavations, rigging operations, etc
• Monitoring IVMS and generating reports to client and company managements
