Doha Metro - Red Line North Elevated, contract value USD 700Mio. It is a Design and Build project consisting of 2km elevated viaduct, 2km at grade, 2km cut and cover section and 2 stations. Interim leader for the start up and organisation of the design and engineering team for RLR JV. Coordination with Client Qatar Rail, Engineer, Architects, Designers, MEP.

Initial 6 months involvement was extended to total 13 months.

Project Manager on hehalf of BBR Systemd Ltd. for RAMA VIII Cable Stayed Bridge, Bangkok for BBR in joint venture with China State and KPV

The Rama8 Cable Stayed Bridge in Bangkok is an asymmetric cable stayed bridge with 300m main span, supported by 84 nos of stay cables. The deck width is 28.5m wide and steel - concrete composite.

Responsible for the set up of BBR’s project operation in general and on site. Recruitment of personnel in Thailand, which was necessary to carry out this first large contract of BBR in Thailand. Managing of project together with the PM’s of the other JV partners.
Representation of the company with all the responsibilities given by the main-contract and as a fully liable partner of the multinational Joint Venture (Chinese - Thai - Swiss).

In 2002 responsible for the tendering of new major projects in Bangkok making use of the established team on site, which led to the award of the IRR Contract 3, a 1’300m of 26m wide viaduct by Jan. 03.

Wadi Leban Cable Stayed Bridge, Riyadh
This pre-cast segmental cable stayed bridge with 405m main span, supported by 124 pairs of stays in central plane. The road deck is 35.5m wide, 763m long and 80m above ground level. The pylons are extending 90m above deck level.

Responsible for the segmental deck erection. Controlling of technical office, erection group, ground team, and abutment group. Assistance to PM and replacement during his absence.
Main Achievement: Alterations and improvement of erection sequences and cycles based on detailed knowledge of construction analysis, which I carried out in period 94 to 96. This allows for consistent 4-day erection cycle and enabled completion of project 4 months ahead of the January 98 schedule
