1.Responsible for the efficiency and utilization of technicians
2.Ensuring successful distribution of job cards through the workshop
3.All related administration is completed to an accurate standard.
4.Ensure accurate & timely processing of all “job card write-ups” and job completion status on DMS and Autoline
5.Pass all completed jobs to service costing / warranty / administration for invoicing whilst ensuring all work hours expended have been documented
6.Operate the workshop loading system, allocating jobs to the Technicians who are most suitable
7.Up sell to customers when appropriate and enjoy hitting both personal and department targets
8. Managing 30 Technicians
1 .Ensure speedy maintenance and repair through clear identification of customers’ needs and accurate repair order preparation
2. Ensure vehicle cleanliness through use of vehicle protection materials (seat covers, floor mats etc.)
3. Provide clear cost estimates and keep customers informed of work progress
4. Monitor the work progress and keep customers informed of changes to cost and or
Completion times.
5. Create clear precise customer invoices that show and itemize all parts, labor and lubricant Charges.
6. Ensure all customer vehicles are clean and ready according to the promised completion time
7. Ensure all filing is kept up to date (including customer history files and regular purging of inactive customer files)
8. Take all necessary actions to resolve customer complaints in the shortest possible time
