• Delivered a top notch Cards Management System (CMS) that positioned Iraq’s Rafidain and Rasheed banks as issuers and acquirers and ISC as a local scheme and the gateway to MasterCard. Technology providers were Network International (NI) as processors on Way4, Oberthur as card issuers, MasterCard as international scheme, Ingenico as POS providers and Zain as operator
• Delivered a billing platform to be the first bill aggregator on a national scale to serve ministries, ISPs and corporate billers. Pilot phase was with the Ministry of Housing in Iraq.
• Delivered a corporate online banking platform for bank users and ministries involved in salary distribution among which the pension office, ministry of education and ministry of finance.
• Trained on diverse EMV topics by MasterCard, Gemalto, Ingenico and Openway
• Projects in the pipeline: Instant issuance, M/Chip advance card issuance, retail online banking, payment gateway, service bus and integration with the central bank
• Closed 2 large deals for a Kiosk and POS terminal solution for bill payments and money remittance with a prominent MNO in Bahrain and the largest telecom re-seller in Kuwait. Success came from a financial B2C revenue sharing model that I implemented
• Established a solid sales ecosystem via strategic partnerships in KSA, Bahrain, Qatar and Jordan and via direct sales channels with key positions in top tier banks in UAE, Kuwait and Lebanon to sell an online banking solution newly introduced in the region
• Was a speaker at the Cards and Payments Dubai event talking about innovation in banking
• Developed product visions, wrote user stories/backlogs and acceptance criteria, defined sprint goals and did release planning
• Managed the relationship with customers and the engaged with stakeholders to ensure building the right product
• Took a sales/pre-sales role and performed full sales cycles from lead creation to account management and developed strategies to penetrate markets with the company’s product line
• Developed expertise in various Microsoft Dynamics products like CRM, ERP and SharePoint
• Designed and developed project architectures (Value Added Services, DVB-H, IP Streaming) on top of .Net Frameworks, used extreme programming (XP) as agile methodology and analyzed suitable design patterns and software techniques (MVC, MVVM, Factory method, Singleton …)
• Assisted the project manager in execution (assessing necessary servers, technologies and other resources) and coordinated with operators like Zain and AsiaCell
