• Comprehensive understanding of Client and project requirements
• Ongoing coordination with all related engineering disciplines
• Applying engineering concepts to provide the most efficient and economical design solutions
• Preparing design criteria reports and methodologies for different projects
• Analysis and design of different reinforced concrete structures (Buildings, Treatment Plants, Highways Structures, Water and Wastewater Retaining Structures, …) according to the requirements of applied local and international design codes and standards using various design software
• Monitoring and leading structural design team to ensure performing the work according to the applicable design procedures
• Technical support for site engineers, aiding in overcoming daily obstacles in construction process related to design implementation and meeting technical requirements
• Developing and improving of QMS core and supporting processes, policies, procedures and quality plans
• Monitoring the implementation of QMS processes and procedures and evaluating their effectiveness in achieving the intended purpose
• Supervising the implementation of different quality tools to assist in service design and delivery according to customers’ requirements
• Ensuring compliance with all process related regulations, laws, and standards
• Supervising and following up on corrective/preventive actions for any reported process gap
• Designing and leading periodic internal audits and facilitating external audits
• Reporting internal and external audit outcomes to the top management and analysing the root causes for any deviation from the set procedures and policies and suggesting any opportunities for improvements
• Holding training and awareness sessions for staff members on QMS policies & procedures, documentation requirements and other process improvement/change management/service design tools
• Keeping good communication with the Clients & other stakeholders to ensure alignment with their requirements and needs
• Coordination with relevant authorities for approvals
• Preparing all Project Management related documents like Project Charter, Scope Statement, WBS, Performance Reports, MOM, correspondence, etc. …
• Preparing Project Plan and Financial Plan and updating them continuously
• Monitoring for the progress of project activities and reporting any deviation from the Project and Financial Plans to Project Director
• Selection and evaluation of suppliers
• Ongoing follow up with project team to help them solve any technical issues
• Ongoing meetings with the Client and related parties
• Reviewing the existing structure and job description
• Assessing the clarity and efficiency of existing structure in delivering the new corporate strategy and business plan
• Aligning of existing and/or preparing new job descriptions to align with functional responsibilities in the new organizational structure
• Defining SMART objectives and KPIs for each area of functional responsibility
• Supporting the dissemination of the new strategy, structure, roles and objectives across the wider staff
