- Supervise fabrication of all metal decorative, thematic & architectural works.
- Issuing of detailed plan (fabrication drawing) based on approved drawing by design department using AutoCAD.
- Inspected, clean and assembled molds prior to start of work before fixing of steel frame structures and secure all reinforcement laminated on the surface before closing the cast.
- Specialized on theme facades, artificial rocks, walls, arches, hard landscaping, events and wedding decorations including statues and props made of GRP, GRG & GRC.
- Assist and coordinates on carpentry and painting jobs and securing all hand tools are available and in good condition at all times.
- Help and assist design team by suggesting appropriate budget cost material especially on metal and other accessories needed on projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Taking as-built site measurement and supervise installation if needed.
- Measuring of all non-typical opening as per site condition for glass balustrade and ACP cladding.
- Supervise installation of curtain wall, structural glazing units, glass balustrade, sliding doors and top hung windows.
- Coordinate with the logistics & storekeeper to expedite delivery of consumable materials.
- Preparing of daily accomplishment report to the Project Manager.
- Conduct toolbox talk every week by assessing various safety hazard, maintaining safety protocols and implementing site procedures.
- Supervising all site installation of aluminum and UPVC curtainwall and various sliding and shutter frames for villas.
- Provides proactive resolution on quality related issues may arise on the projects.
- Direct communicate to the Project Manager for relevant guidelines to the fabrication team on a regular basis to ensure maximum productivity.
- Ensures all installed section, accessories, gaskets, ironmongery and etc. are accordance with the specified and client’s approved materials.
- Prepare and raise MIR to main contractor’s QA/QC for inspection of all delivered materials to site.
- Carrying out safety inspections and fulfilling the health, safety and welfare responsibilities as detailed in the company’s policy and in compliance with OHSAS 18001 management system.
- Ensures material requisitions are issued in adequate time to achieve the scheduled program.
- Liaise with Construction Manager/Project Manager/Site Manager regarding cost control, waste management, variation and confirmation of instruction.
- Preparing daily and weekly report and ensures completion of task on time.
- Ensures all quantities and quality are accurate and conducts weekly site inspection by main contractor’s QA/QC to ensure that execution of the work is done according to the specifications and BoQs of standard bidding documents.
- Supervising all millworks fabrication on stainless steel & metal GI cladding, skirting, framing, shelves, étagère, shop fronts, loose furniture, wardrobes, kitchen sinks, decorative furniture, display units, structural steel works such as portals, mezzanines, decking and other structures.
- Direct Coordination with the Managers, estimator, Q.C. inspectors and co-supervisors to ensure cost and budget management, time-planning, design, estimating & quality assurance.
- Attend weekly progress & technical meeting, discussed proposal & planning to ensure the on-time delivery.
- We catered all types of F&B, retail, hospitality, aviation, banking, exhibitions and residential sectors from the simple to highly complex structures.
- Supervising daily fabrication on stainless steel, galvanize iron and aluminum panels, architectural sheet metal and building envelope systems.
- Handle logistical issues like shipping and receiving materials, and ensure that the project is being done according to specifications.
- Keeping everyone working on task and meet the daily target.
- Responsible for arranging staff members, workers and labor supplies ensuring that procedures are followed, setting performance targets and communicating with managers.
- Ensures safety in the factory/Site inducts safety training and obeys site construction rules by wearing the right personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Supervising site installation of all stainless steel, GI panels, staircases and soffit cladding and glazing on AX-124 concourse phase 1 & phase 2 Dubai airport.
- Supervised fixing and installation of aluminum curtain walls, portal decorative glass, steel brackets, steel mullion beams, movement joints steel beams, etc. in north forecourt and north & south pier area DMI-MC3 Oman airport.
- Supervising and assist the installation of aluminum curtain walls, windows, cross-checking dimensions of the glass, etc. in all designated areas.
- Arranging all necessary equipment for installation i.e. man lift, telehandler, forklift, tower crane, mobile crane, scissor lift, spider crane, chain blocks.
- Supervised daily fabrication on lathe, milling, rolling, bending, shearing, grinding and universal punch and die machines. Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials Onto machines.
- Assists on assembly and manufacturing operations in production line including planning, estimating,
purchasing, safety and product design for steel, aluminum section and composite panel jobs.
- Supervised on welding jobs such as (SMAW, GTAW & FCAW) sheet metal, steels and other parts for
mechanical and civil structural steel jobs.
- monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as necessary.
- Efficient in handling a team of workers or even capable of working as independent worker. Handled all operational machines, monitoring of materials, cutting and fabricate of mullion and transom for unitize curtain wall and stick system, cladding, steel aluminum brackets. Spandrel frames, louvers, IGU glazing, shutters, doors & windows, back pans, honeycomb panels…etc
- Fabricated jigs and fixtures for irregular angle and shape of any sections.
- Trained in AutoCAD Rel.14 for drafting of typical views, elevated plans, details and sections for all types of aluminum profiles.
Performed and operated all lathes, mills, drills, universal & cutter grinder and center less grinding machines, jig boring machine, honing machine, welding machine, etc.
- Obtained dimension up to 5µ (micron) tolerance on surface and cylindrical (internal/external) ground finished.
- Fabricated mould & die, gear, shaft, bushes, punches, jigs & fixtures and other mechanical parts of Aircraft, pharmaceutical, appliances, packaging can & can end manufacturing firm.
- Calibrated measuring instruments from time to time.
- Calculated dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers, height master, hardness tester, dial boring gauge, gauge blocks etc.
