As a startup IT services company since April 2013, I joined Tamkeen Technologies on June 2013 and since then I have managed the following projects:
• National Address "Wasel" Activation:
This was a precursor project, to the next one on this list, to establish “Wasel” as a mandatory mailing address within government, semi-government and business organizations. I handled the project manager role overseeing Tamkeen, Ministry of Labor (MOL) and Saudi Post (SP) stakeholders needs and expectations.
• MOL eServices via SP Offices:
I handled the project manger role overseeing stakeholders needs and expectations and collaborating with counterpart project managers at MOL &SP for liaising activities within respective business, administrative and IT departments.
• Work Permit Renewal via SMS:
I handled the project manger role overseeing stakeholders (Tamkeen and MOL along with its service provider STC/Awal) engagement & interaction for service delivery.
• WAFID Portal:
I handled the project manager role overseeing stakeholders (Tamkeen and its portal business & technical developer) engagement & interaction for service delivery.
• Manage the leverage and promotion of Innu-Science business whenever opportunity arises and strategic customer accounts.
• Managed the establishment of the business (physical office and supporting services from scratch).
• Manage, develop and enhance sales process (End-to-End) and train sales people.
• Managed the successful implementation of BMC Remedy as the bank's overall helpdesk and problem management automated solution.
• Co-managed, developed the gap-analysis and represented the bank at SAMA for the IBAN implementation.
• Co-managed and participated in the migration of the bank's Trade Finance system from Mainframe to UNIX environment.
• Participated as a business analyst for the Corporate Banking Division's CRM business requirements definition and as data analyst for performance monitoring data-mart & reporting and end-user guide definition and development.
• Participated as a business analyst for the Treasury Division business requirements definition for enhancing & integrating its dealing system with other banking systems.
. Participated as business analyst for KnowledgeNet's TradeNet development
and liaison representative with Tadawul for messaging protocol
discussions.
. Participated as assigned business analyst at one of KnowledgeNet's client
for the purpose of payments' reconciliation assessment study.
. Performed sales & sales support for business partner, from India, mini-ERP
(POS, Warehouse, and GL) for retail sector.
. Administered and represented KnowledgeNet participation in technology
exhibition.
. Performed business analysis for the implementation of Nostro transactions
reconciliation system amongst electronic fund transfer (EFT) systems.
. Performed business analysis for the automated solution supporting the launch
of the bank’s credit card business and deputized project manager in progress
meetings and vendor liaisons.
. Participated as a data analyst, within the data management team, for the
construction of the bank's corporate data model.
. Participated as business analyst for the enhancement of existing ATM and POS
applications.
. Participated as business analyst for the implementation of ANB's Electronic
Banking System (EBS).
- Database Administrator (DBA) (1/1991 - 4/1994)
. Appointed as Assistant DBA for one year and a half prior to promotion to
DBA.
. Managed DATACOM/DB DBMS environment day-to-day continuous,
optimized, and secured operation (system resources monitoring, backup &
recovery procedures, business systems release maintenance, and user
access control).
. Performed data analysis and physical database design for business system
development projects.
- Systems Analyst/Programmer (1/1988 - 12/1990)
. Handled the maintenance and development of Corporate Human
Resources Information system (existing payroll & personnel and new budget
monitoring modules).
. Handled the maintenance of MIS reporting for Treasury Back-Office and
Corporate Planning systems.
- PC Specialist (12/1986 - 12/1987)
. Performed PC hardware/software support.
. Performed department level application system programming.
. Performed end-user community training.
I managed to get my BSc. with Honours Class Two Division Two (Overall Mark 52.68) in Information Systems as a senior student (40+) while accompanying my wife, who was on a PhD. scholarship, and two children.
