Currently employed as a senior member of the Construction Supervision team for the Roads Department of Georgia on the Batumi Bypass Road Project.
The Batumi Bypass Road Project is 13km long dual lane road project which includes 5 tunnels (drill and blast) 13 bridges and numerous abutments and embankments and all associated works such as piling works and construction of access roads, which when completed in 2020 will provide road traffic congestion relief to the coastal town of Batumi.
Roles and responsibilities include reviewing the final tunnel design, overseeing the tunnel construction, review of the safety procedures set up by the contractor, managing risk (programme, cost and quality) and improving construction methods and training the local engineers on tunnel construction and maintenance.
Extended duties include doing similar for other aspects of the project.
Previously employed as a Lecturer of Civil Engineering in the Construction Professional Department of Swindon College.

Worked as the Project Manager on a major infrastructure and landscaping project of vast and prestigious proportions that is part of the Lusail Development Area in Doha, Qatar, which will be home to the World Cup in 2022.
Working to the strictest of standards and an extremely tight schedule, the Client has stipulated that the Project has to be completed ahead of the start of construction of the World Cup Stadium that will house the opening and closing ceremonies.
As Project Manager my responsibility was to take a pivotal role in the planning, leading, organizing and control of the project at site level. It was my responsibility to manage the site team to ensure that the project is completed in accordance with the schedule, within budget and to the level of quality required by the Client.
Worked as Quality Control Manager on Line 4 of the Riyadh Metro Project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Providing specialist advice during the set up and early execution of the Station and Cut & Cover Work interfacing with King Khalid International Airport. In addition, providing major infrastructure project advice and support to the different Construction Teams involved in various other aspects of the Works.
