Participated of major overhauls and combustion inspection Of gas turbine and distillers, boilers.
*Contributing in mechanical maintenance team and
managing all mechanical maintenance activities of the power plant and participate in the preventive, corrective mechanical maintenance activities of the plant equipment.
*To participate in condition monitoring checks on machinery and notify any malfunctions or defects to the relevant supervisor.
Responsible for all vehicles/heavy equipment, workshop equipment
*Prepare the schedules, sequences and assignments for work activities based on work priority
*Monitor employees work levels and review work performance
*Prepare spare part/s requisition for all vehicles/heavy equiptments.
*Sets up, implements and maintain preventive maintenance schedules Supervise and monitor the progress of all types of routine, breakdown and planned maintenance activities, so as to minimize downtime for the equipment operation.
*To record any system failure, report to the manager and prepare incident report
*Maintain and updates a log of maintenance work done
*Operate a vehicle for testing and evaluation and maintains vehicle/heavy equipment, as needed to the highest standard of quality at optimum cost and reliability
*Maintains a safe work environment and promote safe work promises
*Ensure all equipment and tools are safe to operate and use
*Maintains high standards of housekeeping in the workshop
*To assist maintenance technician in organizing spare parts ordering plan and to check stock list; so as to avoid shortage of spares during major overhaul of the vehicle/equipment
Prepare schedules and supervise mechanical maintenance programs or operations of mechanical plants
*Participate in the installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment like compressor, pumps, cooling tower, generator, boiler.
*To supervise technicians to ensure all plant equipment and tools are safe to operate and running smoothly.
*Coordinates and maintains proper energy saving systems and leads continuous improvement program
*Up keep of maintenance log books
*Weekly report on break downs/issues/scheduled maintenance
*Parts inventory management
*Manages the day to day activities of the plant maintenance
Responsible for reconditioning and fabricating of packaging machines, and to ensure in good running condition. *Responsible in other technical works such as welding, drilling and grinding
