Civil engineer field coordinator
manage the teams of engineers to their respective tasks
coordinate between NGOs and the engineers to find the best method of work
follow up with the field inspections
follow up with NGOs that are renovating the buildings
connecting between the beneficiaries and the appropriate donor for repairs
inspecting the BOQs prepared by the engineers
conducting training for new teams for engineers daily before the site work
Worked as free lance engineer as part of the order of engineers in Beirut.
Structural Design:
Designing of concrete, steel, residential, and industrial projects including building 4041 Aramoun, Building 550 Bkheshtay, 313 Kfarheim Compound.
Coordinate with governmental offices as: municipalities, General Directorate of Urban Planning, and internal security, for the construction permits.
Preparation of detailed shop drawings and schematics for the projects.
Designing of the structural, electrical, and mechanical plans for the projects.
Preparation of B.O.Q for each item in coordination with suppliers and subcontractors.
Construction: Project “Hadi Foods” 1582 Amrousiye
Ensure that all contractors and subcontractors have access to the plans and that they can easily understand and implement them.
Developing the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for assigned project elements, and monitors progress to meet schedule and budget requirements.
Ensure Client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines.
Carry out regular inspections on site.
Renovation:
Worked with CHF NGO, which was working with USAID, as subcontractor for renovation of refugee houses.
Managed several renovation projects for apartments and buildings.
Ensure the safety of the workers in the workplace conditions
Coordinate between subcontractors to ensure the safe and fast renovation of the structure and infrastructure.
- Site work and management, and dealing with the consultants (directly responsible of more than 50 workers)
- Scheduling of work and increasing productivity (finished 3 weeks ahead of schedule)
- Submitting daily reviews and reports for the work progress and problems and solutions.
- Demolition and cutting of parts of structures
- Renovation of old building and adding new parts
- Quantity inspection and surveying of site work (QA\QC)
Has done thesis on the “Hydraulic Analysis of Flow through an Inverted Siphon Pipeline Case Study “GREATER BEIRUT WATER SUPPLY PROJECT” including design of water systems and surge analysis as well as CFD analysis of water systems under the supervision of Dr. Issam Gouda. The project studied was a 31Km tunnel pipeline designed my “Lombardi Engineering Ltd.” And executed by “CMC di Ravenna”.
Has done senior project in concrete design of high rise building including all structural elements as well as post-tensioned slabs under the supervision of Dr. Yehya Temsah and other faculty members. Graduated with “Degree OF Honor” from the Beirut Arab University of G.P.A. of 3.3.
