• lead the activities related to the identifying, streamlining, classification, comparisons, and analysis of the classes of products/solutions/systems, features, capabilities, needs, expectations, requirements, etc. during the market research, feasibility, procurement, design, and implementation phases of projects.

• reviewing and evaluating incumbent systems’ functions, capabilities, information structure, owners, processes, and other limitations of the city in respective areas.
• take part in the Design and Implementation stages of all projects associated with the Smart City Systems, Smart City (IoT-based) Platform, Data Analytics Platform, City e-Government Platform, and other computer-aided systems/subsystems of the Department of Technology and Telecommunication.
• assist the team of the Department during the prototypes and/or minimum viable product development and piloting.
• assist in the integration of the systems to meet all needs of the smart city and its residents/businesses/visitors, including cross-subsystem, cross-platform, subsystem-to-platform, external, and other types of integrations.
• Monitor network to ensure network availability for all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability
• Manage and support the business cloud emails system to ensure high availability for users locally or remotely.
• Work as a team member with relevant technical engineers on issues such as networking to ensure connectivity, compatibility, and availability between systems.
• Perform routine backups and archival of files stored on the network to assist with disaster recovery.
