Assessment of Credit Proposals and obtaining relevant approvals to ensure timely processing of transactions.

Credit due diligence and Quality Analysis by preparing Credit Applications which analyzes various credit risk facets including an assessment of client business and scope of work, facility terms, client management and background, industry analysis, guarantees provided risk rating and credit bureau rating.

Prepare financial spread (including DSCR calculation) / financial forecast and interact with clients to understand business.

Business Valuation and Analysis of Financial Statements.

Coordinate with the Relationship Managers for the timely receipt of client documents and financial information required to evaluate the credit worthiness of the proposed borrowers.

Presentation of business deals in the Credit Committee.

Review of documents/deals to comply with approved credit risk policy and relevant banking regulations.

Monitor quality of the portfolio by tracking Excess/past dues and Sector Exposure and suggest appropriate solutions.

Preparation of Overdue provision, NPLs, Risk Sectors and Security for the Board, EXCOM and Central Bank.

Assist in monitoring the investment portfolio and prepare performance review reports for the management.

Comprehensive financial analysis of syndications, trade financing, funds to be placed with sovereigns, lease facilities, investments in structured products and shariah compliant securities, mainly sukuks and their structure.

Participate in committee meetings to get the investment proposals approved via discussion with the members of the committee and join bank meetings to discuss investments with other banks.

Efficiently used Bloomberg to extract data for various securities and companies.
