Responsible to monitor and control the section of the mechanical on site works related to retrofit projects to ensure they are completed on time, technically correct in accordance with the project approvals and specifications.

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

• Participated in all aspects of the project management for mechanical works to manage and monitor on-site and undertaken the detailed short term planning and co-ordination in accordance with the master plan.
• Coordinated with the consultant, main contractor and other vendors & sub-contractors.
• Finalized and approved necessary purchase requisitions for procurement of materials and equipment.
• Led frequent construction site visits to monitor method of execution with respect to ITP in a safe manner in accordance with the project QHSE plan and as per PTWC.
• Controlled claims with defined divisions, reviewed payments and reconciliation associated with Sub-contractors and managed the issuance of change orders/variations/claims, and checked the performances of project-specific sub-contractors and vendors, including safety performance, and prepared end of project evaluation reports.

Executed the responsibilities as Chief Engineer with Technical Services Department and controlled all the matters related to the operations, repairs and maintenance of the physical plant and engineering facilities within the complex.

Retain all mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment including HVAC, MEP, ICE Rink and different Rides. Proactively supervise maintenance employees, who carry out the repair and maintenance works at facility, and liaise with all vendors and sub-contractors.

Played a vital role for preparation of Techno Commercial proposals for Retrofit Projects and TA’s / Shutdowns related to Onshore Oil & gas industries mainly ADNOC Group i.e. GASCO, ADCO, ADGAS, TAKREER & BOROUGE with establishing the project Health, Safety & Environment Management processes.

Implemented Project Strategy & super headed efficiently fabrication & installation of static equipment i.e. (Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns & Oil Storage Tanks), Steel Structural & Piping (CS, LTCS, SS) in line with Quality and HSE standard and rules and also Planned the entire project program covering all phases of each assigned project from kick-off to completion including hand-over to the Client.

Actively involved as focal point of contact between Management and Consultants, Sub- Contractors, TPI and Discipline Engineers, handling E&I, Painting, Coating, Insulation, Scaffolding & NDT activities, also organised additional work estimates in liaison with planning & cost team in support of budgeted exercises.
