• Receiving the enquiries from sales and marketing team and reviewing it technically.
• Study the customer requirement, specifications and single line diagrams.
• Discuss any high technical requirements with the Engineering Team if required.
• Communicate with customer/sales personnel for clarifying ambiguity in quotation request.
• Selecting a suitable brand of Switchgear (ABB, Siemens, EATON, Legrand).
• Preparing compliance statement against project specifications.
• Making a preliminary design as per the customer SLD / Load Schedule using any of the Estimation and Design software’s like SIVACON 8PT and S8 from Siemens, DOC & CAT from ABB, XEnergy Configurator from EATON).
• Calculate offer price after including profit according to company policy and in line with market price.
• Based on the product range and the Brand, carrying out the steps to calculate the Margins/ Profits with the management team.
• Prepare the offer to the customer/sales personnel including Technical/Commercial terms.
• Making the technical submittal which includes product catalogues, Certifications, Approvals in Various ministries, ISO Documents and project reference list and handing over to the concerned Sales Team.
• Attend clarification/Kick off meetings with sales personnel in case required.
• Receive orders and recheck final pricing and purchase conditions.
• Pass all the documents to the Engineering team and Coordinate with the Customer for any technical clarifications or additional requirements after receiving the order.
• Maintaining a Log sheet of four Estimation Engineers and distributing, Evaluating & Approving the work technically before sending to the concerned sales engineers.
• Preparing the weekly and monthly MIS reports and discussing the strategies for upcoming Projects and order booking.
• Meeting the consultants and contractors for product approvals and for vendor registrations.
• Attending seminars, trainings for new products from our suppliers viz. ABB, Siemens, EATON, Mitsubishi, Legrand.
Completed Bachelors of Engineering in the year 2007 with an aggregate percentage or GPA of 7.5 / 10.0 with a distinction.
