Design and evaluation of wastewater treatment plants for industrial and municipal wastewater and safe reuse of the treated effluent. Wastewater characterization and feasibility studies. Environmental Impact assessment and other related works to environmental regulation and effluent disposal law and guidelines or standards.
The title of my PhD was Valorization of wastewater via duckweed-based wastewater treatment and aquaculture. The work deal with implementation of UASB reactor for primary treatment of domestic wastewater followed by duckweed pond for effluent polishing and production of effluent and biomass safe for fish feeding and farming using Nile tilapia.
