• Preparing credit proposals on behalf of corporate clients, both Information pre-processing and preparation of credit Memorandum.
• Review and preparation of corporate credit proposals following KYC and AML guidelines strictly.
• Evaluation of Bank Statements, Audited financials, Project cash flows to determine the eligibility of clients based on the prevailing guidelines of Bank/Financial Institutions.
• Preparing credit memo to the final decision makers capturing the essential data such as repayment capacity, debt exposure, past payment history, impact of the funding in the existing business, stress and strong points of the proposals etc.
• Verifying all documents related to the trade finance transaction for their accuracy and completeness.
• Involved in the preparation of quarter/midyear/annual business plans based on the financial data compiled through market surveys and analysis.
• Worked in various branches of the bank, dealing with day-to-day operations of the branch and Credit processing.
• Cross-examine all credit data and ensure everything adheres to bank policies and procedures to approve or deny clients’ applications.
• Successfully handled LC-backed bill discounting Portfolio of major corporates.
• Interacting with customers and fulfilling their needs.
• Identifying wastage points and suggesting improvements.
• Leading, training and motivating the workforce to achieve organizational objectives.
• Identifying and creating a network with prospective clients, generating business from the existing accounts.
• Ensuring the highest service standards, are maintained for all clients with minimum turn-around-time.
• Involved in planning for operational expense reduction, cost forecasting and control.
• Managing key quality management activities such as customer satisfaction, surveys & complaint management,
• Ensuring all customer requests are processed & resolutions provided within timelines.

• Oversaw operations management in cost reduction/containment actions to meet budget objectives.
• Represented the finance department on the corporate task force that created/implemented new systems.
