A key member of the IT - Contract Management team with a mandate to support the various IT functions by effectively managing the IT Portfolio, while meeting both IT and the respective business partner project/programme milestones, maintaining corporate governance within approved budget and continuously implementing initiatives to improve the Contract Management activities.
Responsibilities:
• Sourcing / Tender Process Management in accordance with Corporate Governance and internal policies:
o Managing RFX Process including: understanding internal requirements, drafting and reviewing the RFX, mutually with Procurement managing each of tender milestones, vendor evaluations and vendor selection processes
o Managing Vendor Selection Process via effective analytical and evaluation tools and techniques
o Drafting, maintaining, and reporting Tender Board submissions
• Contract Management:
o Managing the E2E process including:
• Identifying, planning and executing the negotiation plan in accordance with the appropriate vendor engagement model
• Planning and managing the contract review process by closely working with each of the Procurement, Financial Control and In-house Legal functions
• Managing the contract negotiation process including driving legal, technical, financial, and commercial negotiations
• Planning and managing, along with Procurement; the appropriate negotiation plan to ensure Etihad IT obtains the right product/service at the right time, at the right price and at the right quality
• Continuously managing the IT Portfolio including closely monitoring expiry status of contracts and/or tender board approvals; planning action plan for future contract activities such as renewals or termination
• Monitoring and managing the IT Invoices’ department in PO execution and payment processing
• Continuously providing guidance to internal and external stakeholders on all contract-related terms and conditions, including supporting the change control process
• Supplier Relationship Management - Etihad IT Critical Vendor and other categories
o Identifying and agreeing jointly with vendors the performance metrics and report format and content
o Building and maintaining accountable supplier relationships to form joint objectives
• Reporting:
o Creating and continuously managing the IT contract activity database
o Managing the continuous Dolphin updating process (contracts’ management software) to ensure team members continuously update contracts’ statuses
• Continuous Improvement:
o Stakeholder Mapping
o Participating in cost reduction by closely working with Procurement in understanding the scope, business case and improve
Achievements:
• Successfully negotiated and delivered the contract with Swiss-As Licence and Maintenance Agreements for implementation of AMOS on the new generation aircrafts)
• Successfully managing Sabre as the Etihad IT critical vendor including identifying and implementing joint cost-saving / cost-avoidance inititiatives and reporting and these
• Experience with IT Strategy and Planning, IT Commercial, e-Commerce; IT Airline Operations-Technical; and IT Innovation
Mission: Raw Material and Composite Excess Stock Resale at Groupe Latécoère (Aircraft Door System and Equipment Manufacturer)
• Excess Stock Reselling:
o Responding to RFQ, negotiating prices and terms of sales, managing and following-up customer orders up until delivery
o Promoting available stock: Analyzing quantities and state of stocks, conceiving Offer Documents and contacting potential clients, negotiating, managing internal process of resale up until delivery
• Future Stock Reduction Project Management:
o Equipment and System Procurement Strategy Transfer: Supporting procurement in defining future strategies, defining stock transfer strategies, negotiating with future subcontractors, following-up transfer process
o Future excess stock reduction teamwork: Actively participating in analyzing root causes of actual excess stock, defining future preventive actions
• Process Improvement:
o Tool creation to ensure a clear and systematic follow-up of stock reselling process
o Conception of a new procedure and processes to increase stock traceability
Bombardier Transport: World leader in locomotives and rail systems manufacturing (Crespin, France)
• Designing and implementing “Total Cost of Ownership Model” to improve performance and decision-making processes of the Supply Chain Department
o Closely collaborating with different departments of the company (Purchasing, Engineering, Methods, Production and Logistics) in order to collect and process the correct information required to build the TCO Model
o Training different groups on the use of such model
• Initiating and implementing standardized ordering processes via a web portal:
o Putting in place Key Performance Indicators
o Training suppliers on the use and advantages of such portal
o Animating a Suppliers' Day
• Optimizing Supply Chain and Logistics strategies via an economic analysis of Supplier Value Stream Maps
o Creating a standard Analytical Model that evaluates suppliers’, which became part of Bombardier’s logistics Protocol (i.e. the logistics contract)
• Defining and working on non-conformity issues in respect to Lean - Six Sigma Methodologies and tools
Interned for 2 months at Cepi Management in Lille, France.
Cepi Management is a coaching and consulting firm, and I interned as a consultant's Assistant.
I studied and did a thesis on Customer Relationship Management during my training period.
Graduated 2nd out of my class. This 18 month program was organized in such a way that: For the first 12 months (October 2010 until October 2011), we had 1 week of class per month and had to be present in a company the other 3 weeks of the month. During those 12 months, I was working at Bombardier Transport ( World leader in rail manufacturing) as a Supply Chain Engineer For the last 6 months of the MSc program, we had to either have an internship or a full time job in the field of our studies. In this case I was working as a full time employee at Altran Sud-Ouest ( World leader in innovation and engineering consulting) as a Supply Chain and Procurement Consultant in the Aircraft Manufacturing Industry
I am actually preparing my last year Bachelor's degree that I should obtain end of June this year. My average grade over the last semester is 14.5/20.
